This is the largest diorama I've made so far, & it's relatively very small. It took 2 1/2 hours to set-up, photograph, & break-down. I call it "See-Stadt." The location is Piedmont Lake in Ohio. It was a good learning experience; taking involved shots outdoors is very different than using an indoor set-up, but the weather & wind cooperated, though it was a bit too sunny.

Nice pics!
And a beautiful & ideal environment for the shots! Is it near your house? Must be very relaxing to live there I imagine.
What did you used for pavement (underground) of the town? Assuming it is not something like a big stone bench... Whatever it is it looks very suitable!
-
Look at all your Steck now!
Great pix - there's something very cool about pix using a "real" background!

Lovely photos!

Great pics!
I see your monk is made of the same stuff as mine ::)

I was going to ask the same! It looks awesome!

Beautiful! I agree that it always looks nice to have Playmobil outside in a 'real' setting. Though my enthusiaism for taking playmobil outdoors as a child often ended up in damage :-[
I also love how busy the street scene is, I always love looking at the little details.

The pavement was the first thing that caught my eye.
Oke second . . . after all the beer in your pics. Great job!

LOL - it is indeed a big stone bench. Piedmont Lake is about an hour from my house. It is just one of several large lakes near me. My part of Ohio is mostly countryside.

LOL - it is indeed a big stone bench.
I want one ;D

Gorgeous  The natural light and the surrounding make it stand out even more.
I agree it's quite impressive, what you've gathered in a relatively short time 8-)
-
Very pretty! A friendly happy town in a beautiful landscape
-
Very good setting and the lighting for the photo's is quite good considering the bright sun. Nice details like the dog licking up the spilled beer.
-
WOW, this so beautiful ;D ;D

This is perfection !!!! I watch in awe :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

Love it!

While at first there was but white where pics should be, I had just written my first (where have all the pictures gone-) post when all pics appeared as if out of thin air. Great See-Stadt! Seems grand on all those detailed pictures and turns out surprisingly wee when seen as a whole. Great work!

wonderful stuff !!!!

Looks beautifull, the location and sunlight really add a lot to it as well.
That's one very fancy stableboy by the way.

It's an older thread, but since it came up again: I just noticed how most of the sets in there are new (re-)releases. And it looks like a scene from the classic nineties!

Ich hätte nichts gegen neuere Bilder dieser Art einzuwenden... :-[ I wouldn't object to new pics of that kind...
