Amazon.de and Playmobil.de both released a new Playmobil Fairy Tale Castle (6848) and related sets today. The large castle was for sale for 99 Euros 12 hours ago. Shipping to my country is about $60 unfortunately. But the prices seem too good to pass up.

Does anyone know how long after products are released in Germany before they are available for purchase in other countries and continents?

About a year depending on how well they sell in Germany.

6 months to 1 year depending on the country and continent  :)
