Title: Altaya Indian Empire Figure

This is one of the figures from the Spanish small books series about world history. There is a Playmobil figure on a card with each booklet. This one is from the Indian Empire book. It is basically a re-release of the old special 4595 - Palace Guard (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4595). However, it contains a totally new shield. A really really beautiful new shield. I picked this up off of eBay from a seller in France and received it quite quickly.

Simple, mostly a re-release, hard to get, and fabulous.

Very nice figure and the skirt and shield detailing are nice. The education books or just smaller leaflets/cards sound like a great idea and something which I would like to see more of I think it would really suit the type of toys and family friendly/historical/world themes which always feature highly.

Wow, the difference that shield makes instead of that repurposed jungle theme one.
