Cinemano presents ... DISCO PRINCE!
From India comes the first Bollywood klicky musical.
A princess is kidnapped by a gang of thieves and Prince Klickesh will go to help her!

I composed the music and was very funny to record it with a friend.
In fact it is in Hindi language, translating simple sentences and trying to maintain the pronunciation.
I've always been fascinated by Bollywood and wanted to try that genre.
I hope you enjoy it! ;D

I didn't undertstand a thing of what they were saying, but... I loved it!
The animation is AMAZING. I can't believe you made them actually dance!
Thanks for sharing!

Okay so this was... AWESOME ;D ;D ;D
It's absolutely incredible, every shot, every dance move, every look they give each other... :D
Even the elephant looks realistic somehow. It's amazing what you can do with a 'static' toy like Playmobil.
This must have taken you a year to make, no?
Thanks very much for sharing your movie here, it made my day.
:wow: :wow: :wow:

Thanks tahra! They say simple things like "I don't deserve your honor" or "Now I know that I love you". I should put subtitles...

Thanks Birdie! :D I made it in a week I think. And yes, it was a truly challenge make Playmobils dance! The hardest thing was to make the Elephant walk!! 8}

Only a week???
That's just amazing! Great work on that

A week?! Like in "normal time"? Or you mean that in Axl-time? Cause that I find more... possible! :o

It was amazing. Like birdie said, we KNOW the articulation klickys do (not) have, so.. it is truly a feat!

I composed the song in one or two days and shoot the action in 4 or 5 days. It was 2 weeks ago
I make videos every two weeks. I would like to make them more often, but it requires a lot of work and patience 8}
Although it is very fun to experiment and create!

It is brilliant! I love the music too - I thought it had been 'borrowed' from some Bollywood movie, until I reread your first post:

Just incredible. Mind blowing work.
They're making a Playmobil film. If they made it like this, it would be WONDERFUL.
-
This just made my day!!! Best thing I've seen in a long time. I don't admit it often, but I LOVE bollywood style dancing and movies, and this just perfectly captured the glitter and style that I find so charming. Fantastic!

Agreed. That is exactly what I'd like to see :)

Great, very nice work!! :)9
Indeed truly up to every "Bollywood" aspect!

Fabulous! Setting it all must have been so much fun, my favourite moment was the parrot joining in the dance. So many clever elements to the whole production. Look forward to seeing some more!

I can still hum the song when I see this topic pop up. That means it's very catchy ;D
-
Wow, that was absolutely amazing! I can't believe you did that in a week! I would think the editing alone would take that long, never mind the actual stop motion posing! Congrats on such a stunning achievement!
I've kinda never thought playmo was very suited to stop motion because of the legs not moving independently (unlike Lego), but this film is making me change my mind!

I agree. t's definitely not something I would ever try as the results would look very sloppy. But cinemano proves that a skilled artiste can make the format work beautifully.

Just amazing!
I like the bit where they 'shake their booty'(can I say that on here?)
Poor girl had to stand up when riding pillion on the elephant 'cus she can't sit!
Not a bent knee or elbow in sight- brilliant (especially the fight sequence)!
