SOmeone brought the shield to my attention. Was this a company produced shield or was it privately made? Anyone know about it?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Another one here. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/360147301425862835/ Looks like the exact same figure.
This one's different though: http://playmo62.canalblog.com/archives/2014/10/20/30801179.html

This article seems to identify the producer of the figure, but my French is nonexistent. Aidez-vous moi?

"Frédéric Luginsland qui a édité une figurine collector : un chevalier aux armes du Moulin de Vertain." - This seems to mean that Monsieur Luginsland created the figure with the mill shield.

The exhibition in Templeuve (France) is not officially sponsored by Geobra Brandstätter, so the figure for the 2014 edition was most probably privately funded/made. I think the print on the knight´s back is a tamponprint, while the windmill on the shield is most probably a sticker.

The printing technique is called "tampography" or "pad printing"
