I would love any suggestions for layouts for a steck castle jail. For some reason, haven't seen a lot of pictures that have sufficiently stirred my imagination yet on this. I really like the look of the 3786 jail cell, but currently, I only have:
- 1 door and 5 or 6 wall pieces with high barred windows from 3859
- 1 of the full bar walls (don't know the set #)
Would welcome any of your brilliant ideas or suggestions!

Yeah, love the full bar walls.
I have used the 3786 Sheriffs office one in the past. Due to the height issue at the main connectors and roofs/ceilings you can't use them for internal very easily, but they can be great in a courtyard.

Also obviously regular open windows with the bar inserts are good as are slit walls both seen in that photo too.
It depends a bit on how your layout is. If you are on a table you can always leave open walls along the side that butts up to the table edge. Viewers automatically assume cut-away when you do that and it allows you to get away with using the parts you do have for an internal section instead. I always plan the biggest longest wall up against the table edge so I can get away with open walls on one long side, thus making my parts go farther and also allowing easy view into the interior scenes.

Good stuff, thanks, Tim! I'm thinking it could be cool to add the 3859 door as an entry to an exterior jail, with a few cells like the pic you shared. I'll share pics once I get it done.
