... what a great day ! My two Porsche engineers arrived today ( from 3911 set) , the Porsche engineer keyring ( very rare) and the long awaited 5911 911 Targa 4S !!! :yippee:
Below are some pics of the 5991. In the next few days and after I get another 3911 I will making my first Playmobil Porsche diorama
As for the 5991 , there are similarities to the 3991 Carrera S as far as the cars are concerned . Very good plastic quality and decals, Porsche showroom furniture are also very good and the Porsche Accessories decal and Porsche brochures are all exact replicas of the real ones. All very 100% Porsche authentic and 100% as original . Music to the ears of any Porsche enthusiast as well as Playmobil enthusiast !!! The 5991 compliments the 3991 greatly , two current 991 models and a garage and showroom. I hope the next one is the 991 Turbo S perhaps with a Nurburgring background !!!!

Thanks for the review, it is great seeing this!
I'm really not into cars (real life or PM), so please forgive me for starting the discussion with a slightly silly point. I really like the squarish seats, which have an utterly realistic car showroom feel to them!
Best wishes

Can you do pic with both? I think they might be too alike to get both...

I put a new post with pics of both 991's next to each other as you requested Tahra !!! ;D

Thanks for the pictures, George!
I like the Playmobil porches and I´m tempted to get one...
But I promised myself I would really stick to the historical themes, with a few aeronautics/space exceptions... ::)
Btw, a few months ago I bought a (real) Vespa in exactly such a blue colour :)

...bit quiet these days here.... :uhoh:

Not only here but across the forum, by my impression. Has been for a while. But rest assured that I would have been much more vocal if you had brought up some Nurembergers! But cars ...

Having seen your comparison I think I like this one better than the red one. The styling is just a bit more interesting.
-
Very nice pictures! Thanks 8-)
I still think the blue looks a bit strange on a car like that. I'm going for the red one!
-
.. do bear in mind that both ones are exact scaled copies of the real ones and the blue one is the latest facelift model with for example the latest version of the rear light clusters which look much better than the earlier ones
Awww i hope they make a 991 Turbo S soon , bound to look fantastic with them turbo vents etc
I want to buy a couple of red ones and paint them in different Porsche colors i.e Basalt Black and Carrara White for my upcoming Playmobil Porsche Diorama ... !!! there you have it i have revieled my next diorama !!!!
-
Considering what your past dioramas have been like, I am expecting to see a car lot with rows of Porsches lined up in various colors and a full service shop section too... Iseroth's Porsche Dealership :D

After Iseroth ( Medieval) , Von Iserop ( Victorian), Iserox ( Space) , reckon that the name of the Porsche dealer will be Iserino as there will be a lot of costumed mafia klickies about.... I am contacting next week the bodyshop i use to arrange to paint a few Playmo Porsches  !!! ( special attention needed for the hood emblems of course) , I will make a large diorama and wil get some modern buildings as Iserino , the dealership owner will also be a mafia boss   , so need to get quite a few sets and paint a few Porsches before posting pics etc .... :
