Yesterday I couldn't resist buying this nice set. It costs 17,99 euro. Not cheap but the new animals and vegetation convinced me and I'm not disappointed at all.
The contents of the box:

The pond had a nice size and fills the box completely.
The birch tree is really white. I thought it would be a bit grey. The bottom piece is short and fits with the tree trunk. I think this is to play lumberjack?

The tree for the kingfisher has a new bottom I like very much. Also the reed is new.

The whole thing set up. The scaffolding is nice and big enough for the fisherman.

The heron and kingfisher are musthaves to me because I see them both close to where I live. I think Playmobil has done a good job.

The end of the tree is also usable as bird stick.

				Thank you for the pics...
I am expecting this set... Must have the birdies and that tree... and there's an otert too! :D
A shame about the klicky having his jammy shirt on. So silly. Also, doesn't anyone else find odd that a puddle that size has fish, THAT big? and a "pier" thing?!
Is that a new fishing pole? It is different from the ones I remember, at least..

This is a set which I intend to purchase, so I'm pleased to see a review of it.  And I'm very glad to know in advance that the birch tree is actually white - I also expected it to be light grey, and I would have been quite shocked to find it white!  In white, it is not as great as it could have been, I think.  But it will be OK - I do want a birch tree!
The kingfisher is really nice, and I like that useful little pole it sits on.  And that whole light brown tree.  Interesting idea to use those green 'flower bases' for leaves.
It's a shame that the heron doesn't have black eyes - but I think that can be remedied with a marker pen...
The pond may be unrealistically small for fishing (supporting the otter and the kingfisher as well as the fisherman!), but it is a generous size for a playmobil pond, and I very much like the deeper sides to it.

I think you are right about that! Can't wait to add this set to my collection!

Wow, great looking fishing set. The birch tree is so wonderful to see. Geobra is quite slow at releasing new tree species and this one is so great I want a forest of them. Hopefully there will be enough white parts to make many different looking individual birches
The new birds are also quite attractive.
Yes it's a tiny pool that could never support the diverse life the set contains, easy fix though
Thank you for the nice review

The heron has yellow eyes just like a real one. I agree a little black pupil could finish it.
The new pond it too small for this population you're right Tahra. But I'm happy to have them all. They must take turns in swimming
If you turn the scaffolding around you can allmost use it as a bridge. But still the biggest Playmobil pond with green sides!

Don't get me wrong, I think it's very nice... but just a little pond (or puddle) - maybe for a duck? Not to fish in, and the "pier" is beyond silly (but nice, and NOT PINK  ;D )

This is a great set, can't wait to get it (eventually). I have a little pond in my back yard, smaller even in proportion than this one. I don't have big fish unless I stock goldfish in it. When I have I get kingfisher and even a couple of times a Great Blue Heron, which is a very big bird, visiting to eat my fish. So in my opinion the only unrealistic part is the fish size, but I will assume someone has stocked the pond for fishing and the local wildlife have all turned out to do some fishing of their own. Also of course you have to use that size fish so it fits on the fishing lure and you can actually play. The small fish aren't big enough for the hole to allow them to be used with the fishing rod.

I need this set, it's great with so many new items in a small box.
I actually like the size of the pond, I mean it's bigger than the tiny ones we're used to.

			-
So no more magnetic rods and fish then? The fish appears to have a hole in it's mouth where the magnet used to go and the rod "hook" looks longer so as to be stuck in the fish.
Maybe this isn't a new thing, I know geobra has a thing about using metal these days.
Great set though.

The magnetic rods were discontinued a while back, I only just noticed recently myself.

Can't wait to get this set! In fact I want to get several and paint some of the heron white. We have a lot of blue heron near where I live, but even bigger numbers of great egrets. In fact I see them daily flying over my house while walking my dog. For me a zoo diorama isn't complete without wild egrets taking advantage of the steady supply of food in various watery exhibits!

Or an Everglades diorama! There's possibilities to be had from this set

Just wanted to say I was so excited after your review that I went to pick up two of these sets yesterday

It looks like a great nature set, aside from the modern clicky it seems fine for any forest set up.
