In a shocking development, Playmobil has reworked the Micro Noah's Ark set 4332 to include a female lion with the male instead of the previous two males. I found this on the shelf of my local Playmo store this morning. Photos will follow later. The instructions and box cover have also been replaced to reflect the change. The lioness part number is 30 80 1202 and the instructions 30 80 2032. I will be updating Animobil in the next couple of days with the new lioness info as well as pictures of the micro animals from that set.
edit: missed the new sticker sheet - it is part number 30 80 1572

Bet the lion's glad about the change, Tim. :)

Perhaps he didn't ...

Uh, didn't noticed this. On their (German) Web site there is still the Two-Males-Variant depicted. Is this a US special topic? Does anybody know?

Hm, must have a look here in Germany if they have this variant too. On the Playmobil Germany Web site there are still the pics from the old variant.

Interesting news, Tim. :)
I'm really looking forward to the Micro sets hitting the shelves here in my local toyshop!
Must be quite soon since they are already appearing in US stores. :crossed:
The tiny animals are so adorable!
Thank you for posting such clear scans of the box artwork. :)9

They've already reached the Ripon toyshop, some time ago.

Hmm... I haven't checked in the last week, so I shall definitely do so tomorrow. :)9
They can be quite slow to re-stock the shelves up here, but I'm sure the sets will make it eventually. :yup:

@littlejo: obviously, they changed it in the german sets as well.
in the actual paper-catalogue the arch already comes with the female lion...
My personal set has two male lions. ;)

Yes, I recognized this yesterday too. Me personal one has also two male lions (maybe 'cause I bought it right when it came out), so I went out on Friday to fetch the "new" one also.
