Beavers and a dog, and a great klicky with a great backpack - and a very interesting tree!

In the photo above, the different colour of the top part of the tree is very obvious. It is not so obvious in reality, but I will see if I can find better matching parts. The chewed-wood parts of the tree will fit into other tree parts:

The box shows the tree falling.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B03_zpstbxmpob0.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B03_zpstbxmpob0.jpg.html)
Reproducing this is not very easy, and may result in a stunned beaver.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B04_zpsthouz8kc.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B04_zpsthouz8kc.jpg.html)
The fallen part of the tree needs to be firstly supported on a little branch which slots into the lower tree trunk.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B05_zpsk4cubiwq.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B05_zpsk4cubiwq.jpg.html)
This little branch then needs twisting round to the ideal supportive position.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B06_zpshleidpbh.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B06_zpshleidpbh.jpg.html)
Then the leaves which touch the ground also need twisting round until they support the chewed-parts perfectly.

The beavers, incidentally, are darker than the ones I already had - shown here on the right:
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B08_zpsd9xhmzzb.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B08_zpsd9xhmzzb.jpg.html)
Also on the box, a beaver is shown balancing between its toes and tail, in order to be the correct height for tree chewing.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B09_zpsphi2ibrp.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B09_zpsphi2ibrp.jpg.html)
I couldn't make it look quite so good. It needs a handy plant or something hiding its tail-balancing, I think.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B10_zpsdlpuzr6c.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B10_zpsdlpuzr6c.jpg.html)
So, I just sat the beaver next to tree, and said to Mr Raven, who had bought me this set, thinking it would be useful for my new zoo, 'Look! It's cool, isn't it?'
Then.....
.... he said, 'Why is that beaver worshiping the tree?'
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B11_zpsfdllndmg.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B11_zpsfdllndmg.jpg.html)
Next thing I know, there's a whole bunch of beavers worshiping the tree.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B12_zps6yrfvlay.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B12_zps6yrfvlay.jpg.html)
And then they brought candles and offerings.
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B13_zpszbqmkucz.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B13_zpszbqmkucz.jpg.html)
And now I've got the image of tree-worshiping beavers totally stuck in my brain. I don't want tree-worshiping beavers in my zoo!
But I've already drawn the zoo map, and it has a beaver exhibit:
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/B14_zpsfu3trt3d.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/B14_zpsfu3trt3d.jpg.html)
Maybe there won't be any trees in it. Maybe all the trees will be have been already chewed into unworshipable branches. Maybe the beavers will be asleep. Or at the dentist's. Or something.
-
Well, it looked just like they were worshipping, that's all. ;D
-
You could put in a before and after picture . Before would (punning intended) be a tree, after would be a totem pole , then the worshiping could begin
Thanks for the pictures, we really want a few of this set
Just can not get enough beaver and I have never had this darker beaver. Looking forward to more beaver in our dio's
Beavers worshiping wood  very funny

ENGARDE!
CRASH!
...and that folks is why you don't bring a stick to a tree fight.
-
Thank you.
And now, already having a need to avoid tree-worshiping beavers, I am now going to see that any beaver with a stick is actually using it as a weapon against trees.
I think that my zoo-beavers are going to have a total tree and branch aversion. Maybe they can live in a house and bake cookies and watch TV.

This topic is just SO funny! Thanks for making my day!
I needed cheering up after Toby Goes to the Zoo came to an end.

;D
Looking forward to that set - I really like the man's hair... The tree doesn't look good fallen, imo...
And I didn't realize the beavers are a different color...
Next thing I know, there's a whole bunch of beavers worshiping the tree.

Very funny, and a great looking set. Will get it the next 20% off sale they have
-
I agree! Love the humor...
Hate the spoiler for your next zoo... now we shall impatiently await it.... Like I can talk... I've been in the planning stages of mine for 2 years now!
Thank you for the review... I was on the fence about "needing" this set in the next few orders, but now it's been upgraded.
-
 Beavers worshipping the tree absolutely great, well makes sense I guess it does provide them with the wood they need to make their homes.
The klicky and dog seem good and it's a great feature to have a tree that can go from being standing to chewed to felled :)
-
Wonderful review :) I now realize I need this set desperately.

Is there any special way to assemble that backpack? I'm feeling kinda stupid, having tried for a long time before giving up :-[
-
The easiest way is to first put the red shoulder straps part onto the back of the klicky.
Then snap the grey bedroll onto the top of the orange part.
Then take the orange part and place its two bottom ends into the holes either side of the word 'playmobil' on the red part of the backpack.
Then press on both sides of the orange part, towards the klicky's back, until the backpack clicks together.
-
Then snap the grey bedroll onto the top of the orange part.
That is what I couldn't do. Tried with the full backpack, just this part... Brute force.. I couldn't :(
I'm feeling stupid. I DIDN'T try another bedroll.. I will try that. I have no other backpack. The instructions also show no special way, seems pretty straightforward...
:wall:

The bedroll is a tight fit. Indeed, such a tight fit that I can't pull mine out again!
Looking at it, though, it does look as if it goes in at a slight angle; there is a gap underneath the bedroll tab, when seen from underneath:
(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i157/Raven461/Backpack_zps6w6r6fcz.jpg) (http://s71.photobucket.com/user/Raven461/media/Backpack_zps6w6r6fcz.jpg.html)
If no other bedroll will go in, either, you could try soaking both the bedroll and the orange part of the backpack in very hot (but not boiling!) water for maybe 10 seconds, so that the plastic softens a bit. That could make the parts more agreeable about going together.
-
Thanks Raven - I figured it shouldn't be THAT hard - tried with another bedroll, and managed! :)
Now I hope the one that came in the set fits in a saddle..... didn't try that.
