Ran across these on YouTube the other day. A kid from the UK who has a toy review channel. There is a three part series on the Super 4 sets with reviews, but of more interest to us perhaps he got a factory tour and an interview with the new head of the Design Department Uwe Reuter (who replaced Herr Hane this last year).
First video with Dietenhofen factory tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zScpxX6Xhco (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zScpxX6Xhco) This includes showing the hand assembly of the Super4 character figures. I would guess this is being done on all the new body style that can't be assembled in the regular machines at Malta. Includes review of the Chamelon
Second video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHatMlc3WEM (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHatMlc3WEM) with the Uwe Reuter interview - not a great interview but Herr Reuter comes across as a nice guy with a good feel for working with kids. It does show the development models of the Sir Alex figure - showing just how different he really is from a 3D printed version of the actual 3D computer animated model. Includes review of the Flower Tower
Third video is a review of the Pirate Fort https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNNv7xRpCd0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNNv7xRpCd0)

So that's how faces get misprinted, the head isn't put onto the machine straight. Stupid humans, should replace them all with robots. Replace the kids with robots too, then you can make as many customers as you need as well.
