This is one of four Play Box sets released in the US this year. It has had limited release elsewhere through the PCC special Sale as well.

I will leave the box mechanics to my next review in the series, I just wanted to get this one out just before Halloween since it's topical. I will review all 4 sets eventually.

The contents laid out

The artwork is on light cardboard and you can stick it to the box frame with the round stickers on the sheet to the right in the photo. Most of the parts are previously released. Note that the filler piece for the handle, in this case the jack-o-lantern face is painted. No stickers in this set. other than those round ones to stick things on with.

Here it is set up. I think the artwork for the backgrounds is great on this one. The light effect in the center panel in particular is excellent. The big star here of course is the Frankenstein's Monster / Zombie klicky. The vampire we have seen before, but the zombie is all new and one of the best in this theme ever.

Here are a couple of shots of the klickies.

There are some nice parts in this set, but I would have skipped it except for that zombie. At $20 USD for the set it's a lot for one klicky but my guess is that it will be difficult to get one from the parts department. I hope they eventually release it again in another set or as a stand alone figure. It would be great in a Duo Pack with a mad scientist figure.
That's it for this review. Other sets in this series to be reviewed soon.

Great set and wonderful pictures. I so want about 2 dozen of this green klicky. This should of had a new bat in the set to complete it.

Thanks for the review... I also would only be interested in the green man. Ok, and MAYBE the lever and the shelves..
Very lame that the vampire is reused...

I've been looking forward to a review of this set! It's a very nice set with lovely clickies and tons of great accessories.
I like Dracula's hair too :)

Maybe Toys R Us, definitely at Playmobil.us
Thanks! Now I finally see it on Playmobil.us. For some reason I couldn't find it on the website before..and I couldn't remember item number or what category it was under. Then again I could of put more effort into it.... ::)

The Frankenstein monster is nice. Could also be the Hulk using black hair. Cool!

I picked one up at Toys R Us this past week. It actually fits in with the theme of 'Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein' - a non-scary way to introduce children to classic Hollywood Monsters; therefore having increased play value for children outside of Halloween.
