6692 Techno Chameleon with Gene

I wasn't COMPLETELY sure I wanted needed the Chameleon before buying the awesome police tank... After that, no more doubts.


Box not very full, but the thing IS wide. And like with the tank, the "windshield" came bagged.

It took me forever to put everything together - stickers are always.. challenging :-[ ... I do wish they'd print (PROPERLY) the darn thing. Unless when I want to leave it off ;D

Gene looks smaller than Alex, somehow. Still, a gorgeous klicky. IF the head was normal...

The seats (and their stickers!) are assembled individually and set in place:

Each is sort of "customized" for the klicky, with Gene naturally driving/piloting/whatever:

Ruby's seat is supposed to come off, to make room for that bike thing, I assume (the one with the nerd set?)

Not sure if this isn't offensive. I need to think about this. I MIGHT be traumatized, right?! Like CERTAIN people. :wall:

Worse... where is Twinkle's seat?!  Ok, she can't sit with that silly body+skirt. And yes, she can fly. But.. does that make it ok? I don't really think so. Again, if this was addressed in the series, I didn't see it. They don't want my money (yes, I'll be whining about this for a while).

Anyways, in the back, there seems to be room for two seats:

But a really nice design, actually. For me, I'd prefer a better looking sculpt instead of a functioning missile - that we will use like... once? Maybe.)

Ah, the wheels also rotate.. After all, the thing also flies, and transforms its appearance - hence the name, maybe? Though they did not implement THAT.

Thanks, nice review. Yes that bike thing fits in the front part when you move the seat.

Is there anything which the scabbard can be attached to other than Alex?

Is that a door or a shower? They spend all their time in the vehicle I assume, so if it doesn't function as a shower I'm not sure how nice it would be to travel with them. :P
