Hot from the incident come these pictures involving an accident on a medical emergency call.
The photos have text on so I'll say no more.
-
At the scene, the firecrew get to work.
-
Afterwards, remedial work at the scene of the incident, and a shot of the fire appliances as I've just realised that they didn't appear in any of the ones so far. There's more information on the Jeep one in the custom section.

Hello Gordon
Thank you for sharing your story with us, as allways the attention to detail is first class (especially the controll centre !!). I will have my mechanics check over our Ambulance today, hopefully it was only an isolated incident effecting the tyre and not an actual fault with the vehicle ;D. Luckily the helicopter was able to step in and continue to transfer the baby to hospital, where hopefully his or her condition improves.
Thank you again Gordon,
Kindest Regards Tim

Wow, cool story, very well made pics and story telling. I really like this style of story telling. I hope we can see more soon. :)9

Greta photo series Gordon, thanks! :)

Somehow I missed this excellent photo-story, Gordon ...
Very nicely done, my friend.
And, as Tim_W already said, "... the attention to detail is first class ..."
Thanks for the link.
All the best,
Richard

Thank you Gordon for the story! I especially liked the dispatch center and I agree with everyone else that your attention to detail really makes your photos stand out.

Thank you Richard and Gepetto, your comments are much appreciated. I hope to show more of the fire brigade later this year.
The picture I referred doesn't show the change made to the klickies very well, so I must find them and take some better photos and post them.

It looks great, Gordon! (I just found it today).
People have talked about children's books in the past. Something like this would have a genuine interest for kids (and adults). Does the fire department you support post these to its website?

Thanks, Tim. A member on klickywelt has just produced a great little book using his Playmobil fire and rescue stuff, not of stories as such but an overall view showing the different work the fire brigade does. It's a great little book. I've never thought of approaching Norfolk fire and rescue about them using my stuff, but I am slowly starting my own website. About two weeks ago I got the home page done and got a link to work to a couple of internet sites, plus a link to a second trial page. However, things then ground to a halt as when I tried to link to a third page, it always came up with the second page, no matter how I tried otherwise. Then I had to break off to do other things and haven't got back to it yet.

Hi Gordon if you're still having trouble with the webpage link, you could send me the html file. Most people on the forum are probably better than me with web page design, but I am a software engineer so ought to volunteer.
Or if you have the pages published to the web, send me the URL and I can try to figure out what's wrong.

Ditto, Gordon ...
Happy to help!

Thank you Tim and Richard for your kind offers. I am going to try once more in the coming week to solve the problem and then, if I am still unsuccessful, I will gladly take up your offers of help.

Hello, Gordon ...
Thank you Tim and Richard for your kind offers. I am going to try once more in the coming week to solve the problem and then, if I am still unsuccessful, I will gladly take up your offers of help.
Susan is flying to the mainland on Thursday. She'll be gone for about a week, so I should have plenty of time to give you some help if you want it. Please let me know after you give it another try ...
All the best,
Richard

I've just managed to solve the hyperlink problem with my planned website so I can get on further with it. Thank you, again, Tim and Richard, for kind offers of help with this which, even though not used, were greatly appreciated (and may well be taken up in the future, if that's OK).

Congratulations, Gordon ... :yippee:

Absolutely OK! Please don't hesitate to ask for help. Lord knows, when I first set up my website, I asked everyone for help. In fact, I'm still asking (because there is always something new) ... ;)
Also, if you want any suggestions, critiques, ideas and any other form of "meddling," just give Tim and me your URL ...
All the best with your project,
Richard
