Title: klickypedia pirates
Post by: cachalote on July 23, 2015, 21:13:58
:captain: http://www.klickypedia.com/themes/pirates/
 :arrr: i've tried to find new entries for "my" klickypedia family but i haven't been able to.
it has schaper, famobil, trol, estrela, antex, aurimat, mattel, kenbrite and a lot of "rarities".
are these 380 sets all there is in playmo-pirate-world ?
maybe not...
so, i am inviting all of us pirates fans to take a look at this database and see if you feel something is missing.
klickypedia is an "open" playmobil database started by YOYEI in 2007 and it welcomes all contributions.
thank you.
  :)

if you think this is to weird, might i just add that there are sets with strange numbers, like this 49-59978 space adventure super deluxe.  8}
and it was made by shaper exclusively to sears.

besides the usa catalogues' sets i also need some help with this set.  :-[
i'm assuming it is german (the k and the 2 little dots on top of the a help).
it has a name - Kapt'n Silver.
it has a number - 849 103.
these 2 pictures ar all i have.
and a rumour that says this was a promotional box offered by fiat (the automaker) in the 80s.
help.
please.

i just found out i am not alone searching for data on kapt'n silver.  :)

almost 4 years ago maxi-klicky from klickywelt also asked for help.  :)
http://www.klickywelt.de/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=46343
nobody answered back then.  :'(
but he was lucky - he found the box and figure in the garbage.  8}

and gassy from playclicks showed on in 2005  :)

he says it was an offer for the kids when a new fiat was presented in the 80's.  :hmm:

so, the german connection seems to be strong.  :)
and the fiat info has a source.

it's somehow funny that this kapt'n silver has both legs.  ;)
the original 3385 has just one - http://www.klickypedia.com/sets/3385-pirate-treasure-chest/
and stevenson's long john silver had just one too - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_John_Silver
the name must come from somewhere else.
  :hmm:
