This is my video (much long overdue) after all these years of my Black Pearl sailing:

Nice work!

Hey old buddy!!! Long time no see!
What a nice video, Atto. Love seeing it out on the waves. It looks so natural, sailing off into the sunset. :captain:

Thanks!
And missed it here, esp you miss Bonniebeth!
Btw, I only now get to sail it because I can now steer it (as opposed to just letting the wind blow it wherever it wants) with the new Playmobil 5536 RC Underwater Motor which fits on most PLaymobil ships including the 3286 hull (though the 3286 isn't stable enough to escape capsizing on its own without heavy modification). The newer 5135 remold might do ok since the inner hull is sealed from taking on water.

here's an older video with the normal underwater motor just pushing it in the pool, but you can't control where it ends up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uGn-QrMzEc (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uGn-QrMzEc)

 Wonderful video, what fun! You did a great job on the ship. Good to hear from you again old friend. :)

That first vid is with the new steerable RC motor right? I want one of those but they are ultra pricey.
-
Great to see the remote control in use, but it still would make me super nervous in such an uncontrolled environment like that. I do want one of those motors. I have dreams of trying it with the watersiier set from way back.
And great to see you back Atto!

A safety line was used ???

That video is amazing :)

:wow: great video.
:o and the way the wind kept changing direction is incredible, always blowing form the stern.
::)... wait a minute, do you mean to tell me there is an engine pushing this sailing-boat?
 sacrilege.
