Title: My Playmobil basement
Post by: Birdie on June 11, 2015, 08:42:32
We bought a house and yesterday the last box of my Playmobil collection was moved to the basement, which will become my very own Playmobil room with access to everything and lots of space for diorama tables.

Seeing it all displayed in one place for the first time, I think it's safe to say I haven't gone overboard (yet)  ;D

The boxes contain minutely stacked PM (usually not what the picture on the box says) and they're all labeled on top, but it seems I should put new labels on the sides, so they show.

Can't wait to do my first project here!!  :)

Here's some more pictures of the rest of the space. My tables will be set up there, and maybe a desk for clicky assembling. I'd like to put up that light blue fabric I use, around the tables, on all sides, hanging down from the ceiling. Somehow...  8}

There is no natural light of course, that is a bit of a shame. I'll see what I can do with lamps and spot lights.

 :omg: :omg: :omg:
Wow, that's a great space for Playmoing! I have a box room in our attic, which is Claustrophobia-Ville, but better than nothing. Some natural light, but daylight spotlight bulbs are good for photography

Why are so many Playmo-rooms in attics or basements?

Yeah... That's true. Especially if you spend  lot of time there!  But I think these days there are all sorts of lights...

That looks like a really great Playmoroom loads of space for Playmobil, dioramas, klicky customising ... brilliant in my house it's whatever space I can find and boxes under the bed so any form of Playmoroom would be a major step up  :)

It looks like a good space, just need to make sure you have a spot for new stuff as well.  ;)
