Dr. Klown - Donate a Smile Today (http://www.drklown.org/donate.php)
Dr. Klown is an NGO, active in Mater Dei Hospital (Malta), that provides hospitalized children distraction and stress relief through fun and laughter.
(...)
Dr. Klown depends on donations of sponsors and the public to fund the extensive training programmes of its clown doctors and ongoing operational costs.
This is on topic because they have a playmoclown keychain:

You can buy it from the link above, 5 eur each, free shipping to EU - ordered mine. Not core and all (and those dreadful legs!), but will be a nice addition to the hospital, I suppose.

He's pretty cool looking. Wish he wasn't a keychain though.

Mine won't be... used to be easily fixed...

He looks good. How would you go about making him a regular clicky? Does the hat/hair come off? Or do you cut the chain off somehow?

Thanks for the information, Tahra. They are very easy to order (3 clicks and I had paid with Paypal!), at least for Europeans. Seems a very good cause too!

Haven't done that in years.. (didn't get to the PCC guys YET).. But I used to just pull the chain off. Leaves a hole, of course, but that is better than a chain, right?
If that doesn't work, just pop him.

Yes, as long as they do show up, right? I think someone on THAT site got his, so... We'll see.

I THINK I may have the red hat - so his doesn't need to have a hole... Let me know if you need one ;) (IF I have them!)

You'll have to let us know how "de-chaining" him goes

				Mine arrived today.
Dechaining could have gone better. Just sayin'.  All is well, since I had a replacement hat.
Details in the PROCESS later.
