Hey guys,
been a long time since I've been here, but i wanna present you all with a little puzzle. A riddle...a treasure quest..whatever you may call it :)
I've bought a bit of playmo and in it, there was a lot of modern stuff. Now I'm quite good with playmo in the 1974-1990 range..but anything made after 2000 is like unknown to me.
So I present you with this! (click photo to enlarge).

If anyone spots sets (or parts of sets) , it would help me a lot :)

Here's what I can tell from a quick flip through the catalogue (and personal experience, haha)
- The beds are from the 4145 take-along dollhouse (+ the mom and dad)
- The circus elephants are from set number 4235
- The orange podium is from the clown set 4231
- The horse seems to be from set 4234 (circus act with horses)
- I see a few parts from the 4230 circus itself (the yellow thing to dangle from, the ticket booth, a few poles for the fence, the circus director...)
- The green dinosaur looks like it's from set 4175
- The little brown dinosaur is from set 4174
There's some stuff from Specials too:
- 4664: puppet theatre
- 4660: seal and baby seal
- 4663: king
-
I am really impressed with your knowledge dear Friend ;)
-
On the lower right are the "feet" from the police waterplane, I think...
And the barefoot woman above it could be the one from the animal ark.
-
I am pretty sure you're right.
And there is quite a bit of parts to the circus there
-
The baseplate, palm tree, and pirates are from 4139. http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4139 In fact I see klickys and rock parts from two of that set.
-
I just see lots of great usefull parts, no part numbers or set number required. We can't get enough of the random mixed up lots, "huge" is our favorite.
You could get creative and try and find new uses for these parts before you know what they really are.

Hey, I love sorting lots like that one, putting the sets back together as far as possible. I didn't see the other replies before I went away and did an annotated version of your photo. Then I realised that loads of people have replied. Never mind, here's my contribution.

Here's all the sets I found:
Keesinho just discovered modern PM (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?setlist=4230,4231,4234,4235,3255,4664,4174,4175,4145,4136,3859;title=Your%20Set%20List)
There are also quite a few Special klickies in there, but I have never seen that giant Beer Bottle at the back, perhaps its from the 2015 catalogue?
-
can I just say thank you? Man I am impressed! :D
I know how much fun it is to put the pieces of a puzzle together and I'm glad you guys know this much about all the modern stuff !
@GrahamB lol@sixpack. The beer didn't come with the playmo, but it sure is a good friend at sorting times :D :D :D
-
The six pack label on the beer bottle completely cracked me up, particularly as I hadn't noticed it in the first, unlabeled picture!

Nice lot! Btw if you want to get rid of the amphoras and vases ron the right side of your picture.. :P
Always looking for those things, the big brown amphoras did only come with the egyptian family.

Maybe in recent times - we got our first in the arab caravan...
-
According to PlaymoDB, that amphora is found in five sets:
PlaymoDB List - Sets containing 30 60 3500 (Urn, small neck, handles) (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?setlist=3415,3455,4294,7386,7460;title=Sets%20containing%2030%2060%203500%20%28Urn%2C%20small%20neck%2C%20handles%29)
I thought there was a more recent set with pottery in it (a market stall perhaps) but couldn't find it when I was investigating Keesinho's picture.
-
And also the large arab one, the styrobox with 7 klickys...
-
Police clickies drinking on the job, I can see why they where fired from their last district and send elsewhere (to your house through mail.) ;)

7855 Knights Market Stand has a lot of pottery but not that large brown two piece amphora.
-
Definitely didn't search well for those amphoras. Good to know in which sets to find them....
:)
