Title: 5571 Bicycle Safety and 5573 Mom with Twins
Post by: leefert on February 15, 2015, 02:37:28: I ordered these two sets from Toys R Us... they arrived a bit worse for the wear (shipped together in a padded envelope), but I don't care about the boxes anyway.

So the Bicycle Safety Set is kind of cute. It has a fair number of parts/ pieces fore $15.99 price tag. It includes a boy and a girl (I love the little boy's outfit). The only drawback to it is that the little brown bike does not stand on its own (nor have a stand) so it either has to be held up by a child or rested in the bike rack.

The babies can hold small items in their hands (though the ring-like toy was hard to get the baby to hold). The stroller was a quick assembly. Mom is rather ordinary (but she has twins so she can't afford to be extravagant).

Overall though they are two cute little sets to add on to the existing City Life. I'm still excited to get the rest of the Daycare sets when they come out.

Lovely sets. I'd like to get the wooden scooter from the Bicycle Safety set one day. The twins are adorable, I got them as soon as they were available.

The twins look alright although I agree you don't seem to get all that much made me laugh what you said about Mum not being able to afford to be extravagant with twins poor Mum. Personally I know they're meant to be twins but, I think it's a bit of a fob off getting two babies exactly the same I'm sure they could have made them look like twins and given them slightly different outfits or something just to provide a bit of variation, maybe just me though?

Different color shirt? That'd work. For two babies in the same stroller.. same heads..

Precisely it doesn't have to be a major difference besides how else are you going to tell which twin is which if you're a tired parent

Yes, there is a good ability to set up a little mini course (another thing I'm disappointed in is the fact that both kids bike helmets were red, yellow would have been better if you were going to do 2 of the same). I do like this set though.

Glad that you found the humor in that comment about the mom!

A different color shirt would have been perfect! Even if one of them had been in pink to show boy and girl. I wasn't too fond of the matching outfits. And I'm not sure about that hair. But all in all it's a good set.
