Title: Fat Thursday!

Hello everyone.

Today in Greece we celebrate the Fat Thursday!! It is about a traditional custom and everybody is doing barbecue and eats lots of meat. You can't find a table at the restaurants if you don't do reservation! From tomorrow begins fasting for 50 days until our Easter. The Fat Thursday is also the start of our carnival!

So, have a nice Fat Thursday!! :lol:

Lots of meat ... and also beer.  Do people give up beer until Easter too?

A great scene, and a very good photograph of it - it's so sharp/in focus.

I like the 2x chops-and-sausages on the barbeque too; I'd never thought of doing that.

Thanks for giving us a bit of history on Fat Thursday sounds like an interesting custom. Great photo he certainly looks ready to enjoy the holiday, I like the way the beer's spilling over the edge of the tankard  :**:
