I had a challenge for a local photography club, the word was just "black" so I decided to try ink droplets. But that's been done, so I wanted to add something to it.

The trick is that this photo is upside down. I hot glued my reaper to a small plastic tub, glued to the lid to the aquarium, put him in upside down and then dropped in the ink. It took many, many tries to get the ink looking the way I wanted it.

Wow.

And... how did you ever think of that?!

I was going to photoshop it, but someone in the group mentioned that photoshopping would be against the spirit of the competition. So I racked my brain on how to do it all in camera with no photoshop.

Thanks for checking it out!

I was thinking of getting some red ink, mixing it with the black and doing a firefighter... something a bit less morbid :)

Very cool, definatly some creative thinking on your part!

That's the joy of working with playmobil though.. and photography in general. So much to play around with and be creative with!  :)
