The Porsche is online at the German site, and it has a few parts in the inventory already. (Writing scripts to automatically import info from the official website was SO worth it - it took about 30 seconds!) 3911 - Porsche 911 Carrera S (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3911)

Funny part number (3)911. Just like the German numberplates. Officially there are not personal numberplates in Germany, but how oft I spotted a Porsche in Germany with 911 on the numberplate....

I dont but looking at this 3911 set there is a small Porsche decal on the hood  :love:

when will these be available? there isnt any on ebay as yet .....

The hood is a printed part, by the look of the instructions.  Here's the sticker sheet for the set: http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-82-7893 - it's only license plates and headlights and the like.

I was wondering how the deceptive company VW, who owns Porsche, image will play on playmobil's image? Guilt by association ? It certainly does not look good at all.

It's the VW brand that is affected right, not VW group, so Porche is not affected. I didn't realise how many high end cars were under that group - Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini.

Bumping a very old thread, but Playmobil have confirmed on Instagram that they're releasing another Porsche next year
