Hello all,
I would like to show you my newest purchses. I was able to get all these sets this week. They are all new and unopened and the price was acceptable what I think (€ 250,- for all). :)
To date I had only a 5300 house with a lot of furniture which I bought some time ago from a seller in used condition.
But now, my first 1900 sets in new condition. I am very happy with this. Unfortunatelly, the package from 5300 is not in best condition. But have a look.

All new and unopened! Wow! How absolutely wonderful. Lucky you!
-
Wow, that is a very good price considering the house alone seems to be sold for that price, sometimes even used.
-
Whoah! That is awesome, and for such a good price too!!! :cloud9:
-
Great purchases! :)
-
A great purchase - both the sets and the price!

Thx a lot for the kind replys.
My main Playmobil themes were so far Western and Knights where I spent quite a lot of money. And I am totally fascinated from the Future planet base because it is so innovative.
Into the 1900 theme I came some months ago when I browsed through an old Playmobil catalog and the 1900 virus got me. At first, I started to get a used 5300 with furniture for a reasonable price and in good condition. And now, I collect another Playmobil theme which will also cost me quite some money for sure :-[
Would be cool to have some sets from this theme back in the DS shop.

Once you look at those catalogues, you're hooked ;D
I think you've had a real bargain here, with the house and all those rooms MIB. Will you keep it in the boxes?
I hope they start the old fashioned dollhouse theme up again, too. I don't really need them to re-issue all the old sets, but I would LOVE some more sets with furniture, cars, shops, and people to match the Victorian theme.
-
Western and victorian theme seem to match very well, its pretty much the same time period.
-
Will you keep it in the boxes?
Probably, I will keep the boxes closed although I am not a MISB collector. The only reason is, I already have one completely furnitured house. In general I must open every box to build and play with it
Western and victorian theme seem to match very well, its pretty much the same time period.
That is really true. The victorian house would also match very well into the US southern states during the civil war time I would guess.
I would also like to have the small victorian house to create a little street with fences and so on. We will see.

Hi again,
my latest aquisitions from 1900 era. I got all from a single seller. They are in very good condition, looking like they came directly out of the factory.
I have some of these sets already in open condition. So they will probably stay in MISB condition, although I am always eager to open everything what I get.
Especially the back sides of these packages are so beautifully created with so much love for detail. I didn't take pictures of them, but you probably know what I mean.

What a cool theme that is.

Gorgeous buys!
With the carrier of that lady's luggage and his chart saying 'Hotel Royale' I've always felt like they should have done the hotel too :)
-
Great buys!! Victorian theme was fantastic!!
George.
-
Nice buys like the ones with the 2 soldiers and with the kids in them particularly the boys and the Grenadier Guards some great figures and accessoires there, love the fact that the soldiers both appear to be holding flowers as though to stick them in their gun barrels  how ironic
-
That is a great MISB Victorian collection you acquired. :house: congratulations :candle:
It would be so wonderful if geobra would make more classic civilized sets such as the Victorian theme.

Hi all,
here are photos taken of my latest aquisitions (Victorian theme).
1. These two sets are MISB

2. These sets I bought in open condition but they are all complete.
The package from the fence (5360) is a little bit bloated because of water.

How wonderful  Takes me right back to when I was a kid. I can even remember every separate occasion when I got these sets.
-
That is one of the coolest themes they ever did.
-
Congratulations on your Victorian property and furnishings :)

Some real nice sets there with some great figures that artist set is great and the cars are beautiful gotta love vintage cars. I'm pretty certain we had the bedroom set I remember certain pieces and figures more than others like the bunk beds were great the way you could assemble them in different ways, the babys crib and that dresser/changing table with the pull out bit and love that train :)

Very nice additions to your collection. Do you plan on opening them all up or do you keep them as is?
-
Congratulations! What a wonderful collection!

In the near future I want to create a nice little diorama with the furnitured 5300, 5955 and sorroundings. Unfortunalley, I have no dedicated hobby room for my Playmobil to keep things assembled for a longer time.
I am also still unsure whether open or not open some of the MISB sets.
