Title: cultural identity of series 7 woman
Post by: Macruran on October 05, 2014, 02:15:30
I'm sure it's been covered but indulge me: what culture is this figure meant to be from? I'd hazard Bali or somewhere else in the Indonesian Kulturraum.

Playmobil has called her Balinese on the photo they posted to their social media accounts. So yes I think Bali is about right

my apologies Geobra and PFs...like I said, Geobra does research...this hat is made from tiny flowers (while the 'crown' I had in mind is the other one which is also worn by men-of-war, in dances and movies)
