This set is probably one of the highlights of the new medieval lineup. It's a real shame that the soldiers are there.

There is an unusual brownish money bag included.
The klickys are nice - and the highlight is the peasant, not a surprise.

In good "peaceful" colors, and a gorgeous shirt, that guy is amazing. Add a nice hair and beard, and a pretty brown hat.. He'd be great for parts too (those black + greyish legs are very very interesting).
The warriors aren't anything out of the ordinary, though I like the new shields. One of them has the "clockwork" piece, and we had trouble fitting longswords there. He also has a big mace - a non-favorite weapon around here. The other is setup as an archer (with a big shield!), but looks nothing like it. The chestpiece is not very nice (I'm not fond of the design), and he has THAT hair, which doesn't help. They were both set aside to sort when the rest of the eagle knights arrive.
The wagon is just about the same version, but I think the rounded bit to fit that double hook is new? Looks a bit unnatural, but better with the hay. There is also a bucket with water.

I had trouble fitting the ox there - not sure that piece was meant for these larger animals.
Pretty brown ox :)

The other star of the set MUST be the hay. Odd, isn't it?
Fits nicely on the cart:

The hay pile is made of two parts, and being hollow it can conceil something - or someone...

A great addition to the theme, and would be even better if the warriors were not included.

Thanks for the review Tahra. Yeah its funny when a company makes a pile of hay and its the biggest selling point on a new set :)

A great set, thanks for the additional review and pictures, we have to wait a year so the build up is appreciated. I am not that disappointed in the addition of solders. I speculate geobra added them to give this set more boy appeal beyond a civilian peasant and his glorious hay. Oh for some reason the great looking peasant look pirate-ish to me, must be the overused ragged shirt? He really does have great color tones used on him. Hopefully geobra keeps that up and retracts on the fantasy knights.

Thanks for the review. Medieval stuff is not my theme, but that hay cart is so cute, I'm going to have to get this set.

Let's hope the kids really go for this one too, then Geobra might take notice :)

Thanks for the review, Tahra.
The rectangular shield is suitable for a crossbow man, but not for a longbow man.
The light brown double clip is new, I think. Previously, they have always been black.

I like this set very much!! Thanks for the review tahra!
George. :)

I'm with George, I definitely gonna buy this one!

Great review, thank you for the pictures. The hay cart is without question the highlight of the most recent Medieval theme for me.

Right. Fortunately, that is easily fixed... ;)

Ah.. Goody. Brown parts are always good, right? But I meant the place to attach the double clip in the cart - it has a rounded bit that I don't remember...
(then again, my cart-sides are all mia - could only find one when I did the fort, and have no idea where that one is now :-[ )

Our old ones are not rounded on the center post.

Right! Thanks for confirming that.
