Title: Red hot Legos
Post by: Rasputin on August 17, 2014, 14:46:36
I often wonder about auctions and why so many new sets get sold cheaply. If this happens with big brands then in Europe it must happen with playmobil. I can just imagine a mafia chasing down a blue truck on the highway

I often also wonder about all the endless auctions from Malta of random opened sets in high numbers.

Toys are definitely a hot commodity - I'd hate to think what the authorities would make of all the new Playmobil sets some of us recently bought for a legit "steal" at ToysRUs, not to mention all the other sets we've collected.  Better keep the cops away from your barn, Rasputin!   :lol:

Too bad CNN couldn't find a photo of actual LEGOs to run with that story you linked to (the ones in the photo all appear to be knock-offs - now there's another story.  ;) )

Will there come a time when toy shops display only empty boxes (as with CDs/DVDs in some shops)?  8}
