Good you're still having your usual humor despite Argentina's loss  :)

Thank you guys!  ;D

I shoot two different pics before the game to have one ready for after the match. Unfortunately I had to use this one, but I thought it was funny. There's an "aside" joke for the Potter fans too, that someone might have get.
I will explain it anyway for the rest.

JK Rowling has a website with updates about the Harry Potter world. And a few days ago she published something surprising. The first update of Harry's life since the last book. The thing is that Harry went to Patagonia for the Quidditch World Cup as an spectator.
Anyway, Argentina appears to be host of the Quidditch World Cup but does not compit in it. (Which I take as a personal offense btw )

So therefore, this player of the pic, has no chance to win that cup either  ;) ;) ;)

Haha, that tiny Harry Potter looks all offended

Argentina lost in the end, but it was a wonderful final. I was on the edge of my seat for 122 minutes!

Argentina lost in the end, but it was a wonderful final. I was on the edge of my seat for 122 minutes!

I was up and couldn't sit after the goal! I figured it was going to be decided on penalty kicks, and then that happened. My mom was laughing at my excitement. But that's how a World Cup should be- dramatic and a nail bitter

A great way to deal with the loss, Gaston! Very funny! I'm back in the land off the living now... the expectations were not very high before the tournament in Holland but everyone got crazy the last weeks. Overall, I think the Germans had the best team, the way they beat Brazil was impressive.
Before the final, someone said: Argentina's got the Pope, Messi so let the world cup to someone else.. But the Germans got Zirndorf!
There were a lot of jokes about the Dutch Royal couple during the semi- finals (King is Dutch, Queen Argentinian)

I think Geobra should, to celebrate the World Cup, give everyone large discounts on Playmobil purchases! ;D

Well all joking aside it would be a good chance for them to do a promotion on the Footballers I'm sure they'd be popular with people I mean let's face it footballs popular enough anyway without the World Cup but, now there's likely to be plenty of kids wishing to recreate their faovurite scenes with their friends and such  :)

Gaston, I am so happy you can take it with your wonderful humor.  ;)

I must confess, that you were the one and only reason, I wouldn´t have begrudged Argentina´s success.

But I am happy, there is no need to.  :-[
