All three fit snugly in ckliky hands?
-
Yes, and all three came mixed in with random ebay purchases of playmo stuff.
-
The middle one reminds me of the very first spears, from the native American sets (Indians as we called them then). I thought they were a lighter shade of brown though.
The one on the left is so short it might be lego.
-
Yeah the silver one does look pretty l*go doesn't it.
-
Is it important that they are Playmobil, or is the fact that they will fit, as cheng puts it, "snugly in klicky hands" the important thing?
-
My gues is that the middle one is indeed the early indian spear, but dyed black.
The shape is just exactly that, its without a doubt playmobil.
The left one is too thick to be lego, their hands would break when trying to hold it. Maybe its from a playmobil harpoon gun or such? the quality of the toy does look beter than the average stuff so it could be playmobil.
The right one.. perhaps its missing something that should have been on top? Maybe its a carrying standard or such? Looks too blunt for a spear. Not sure if its playmobil though, but it could be.

You guys are the real masters of playmo...the characteristics u mentioned are educational to lesser masters like me...even if the correct answers might never be confirmed
-
I think the middle one is indeed an ancient indian spear... The right one is from the polar sets. The left one, somehow does not look playmobil to me... Reminds me of Airgam...
-
The right hand one is from Eskimo set 3465 or 3466

The middle one looks like an early Indian spear, though considerably darker, as Cowabounga said.
I don't know about the short silver-grey one.
Tahra posted just before me!

The important thing is only that I find out if they are playmo. I am trying to purge my collection and these are some of the scurf that's gathered at the bottom of the tubs.
Thanks everyone for the IDs! Nice to have that Eskimo pole ID'd. And the spear - does this have to be dyed? There were no black spears? I have a black musket too.
Silver spear is going to puzzle me forever, I can tell.
-
The short one can't be Lego.
Lego hands are much smaller than Playmobil ones, so playmobil things don't fit in them and if a clicky can hold it properly, then a Lego figure won't.
It must be some other Knock off brand. :hmm:
-
PS if anyone is in the market for an eskimo pole or a black early spear, contact me! :)
-
I don't know where it came from but I have that grey short spear, so it probably is playmobil... just have no idea which set.
-
maybe one of those rare dwarves edition? ???
-
I was thinkin maybe one of the adventure or jungle sets perhaps as a boat or jeep decoration... but I still haven't found any clues yet :lol: it's driving me crazy 8}
-
Here's another adventure then, finding out where this exotic spear comes from! a new quest.
-
I'm going to be selling these mystery spears soon, as part of a bundle of random parts and klickies on ebay. Just FYI.
-
The 7199 north American accessories set looks to have a black spear, but it could be dark brown.
