Going through my photos from last year's Kirkbean Exhibition I realised that I didn't post these.
I had planned to do a series of small dioramas of fairy tales and nursery rhymes but I ran out of time and space to set them up. However I did manage this one...

A big thank you to Joe who sent me some of the small beds to customise...

As you can see, the dwarfs rushed out to work, leaving chairs knocked over and all the washing up still to do...

However Snow White is ready with her broom and the animals are there to help her clean the house ...

At least one dwarf remembered to wave goodbye! ...

Lovely, Elaine! I like the interaction between the dwarves and Snow White. One of my favorite Disney films and you did a great job. How do I find a Snow White to do my washing up?
Joe

Oh, that is so precious
That cabin-in-the-woods works perfectly! And I love what you did with the beds, too.
-
A nice reminder of last year's exhibition, Elaine.
-
aawww! I love the seven little beds! are those painted?
beautiful Elaine!!

A great setup, who will clean up the poo that those animals might leave in the house though? ;)

My wife's friend said "My dishwasher has stopped working"
My wife replied "Mine wouldn't dare!"
This is a lovely display, Elaine- I think your choice of house is spot on!

Disney animals never do that sort of thing! And neither do PM ones! ::)
-
Great display!

Well, I have to disagree... do you remember the Unicorn that pooped ice cream? Now, that's magic!!
-
What a pretty & poetic version of the tale dear Elaine
I just love those cute little beds

It's true that playmobil does have a poo/chocolate ice cream piece.
-
And the hamburgers also double as cow poo.

Very true. When I first saw the PlaymoDB description of horse droppings in set 3120 (Horse and Pony Ranch) was 'Ice cream, scoops in a pile', I thought someone (Heather?) was using a euphemism! Later I realised that the first name given to a part sticks, even if that part is later used for something quite different.
Perhaps when a klicky needs to swear, he/ she says "Oh, ice cream scoops in a pile"!

That reference is lost on me, T. Can you explain?

sorry! :-[
It's a photostory I posted here a couple of years ago called "the poo story" and later the secuel "the sick unicorn".
Maybe you weren't around then. :-[

sorry to ask again but, does someone know if those beds come in a set or they're painted? they are perfect for victorian and medieval set ups.
-
Lovely, Elaine, it's perfect!!! I love all the little beds, too. Gaston, I think she said she customized them, so yeah, I think they are painted.
And the hamburgers also double as cow poo.
I never thought of those as hamburgers. Ewwww!

:o But that's... insane, right? And only two dwarves are included?!
-
it could worth that maybe with 700 dwarves. that's crazy!
-
Most of his prices are. The interesting thing is that the items are said to be located in Germany but the seller is registered in the States, so maybe the price includes his fare from the States to Germany to wrap and post the item and then his fare home! :)

Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures.

Sorry Gaston, I was out African drumming last night so didn't have time to reply to your question. :-[
Yes, the beds were painted, They weren't the colours I had originally planned, but I ended up using paint that I already had and I was quite pleased with the overall effect in the end.
Some of the beds I already had were quite discoloured so spray painting them has given them a new lease of life.
Thank you everyone for your comments, it was fun to set up. I have ideas in my head for lots of different fairy tales, it's just a matter of finding the time to set them up.
I do have the 4211 Snow White set Gordon, but that wasn't what I used though. Unfortunately I have opened mine. I think I paid £9.99 for it originally!
