Title: trouble logging in

Has anyone else had problems to log in lately?
It takes me several tries to be able to get in. Is there a general problem? It happens from both my computers (home and office)  :eh?:

I just checked the error log and there are some very strange entries I've never encountered before. (Normally the only thing recorded there is when people accidentally type the wrong password.)

If this problem doesn't resolve by itself soon, I will have to find out what is causing it. All I know for sure is that I haven't changed any settings, so it's all a bit of a mystery to me.

Me too! No new entries in the error log since yesterday evening so hopefully it was just a temporary thing.

Are you still having problems logging in?

I haven't had problems logging in, but for the last few weeks, the site has seemed to be going down for me. It usually happens whenever I have multiple tabs open. I can access it around a half hour afterwards, but it's sort of strange. :-\ Maybe the strange entries are from me. :lol:

I've noticed the site has been slow as Hades, sometimes just timing out :(

No problems logging in for me though.

yep that was my problem yeserday. it took so long to get into boards that a sign of TIME OUT and REFRESH appeared.

Have just installed a patch by SMF addressing memory issues with  2.0.7 (the previous version which we were using) and MySQL 5.6 (database) compatibility issues. Hopefully this will speed up the page loading and get rid of any other time-out problems which have been occuring.

Hi!
Yesterday but specially today the site is extremely slow again. It takes for ever to get into the boards or threads. Anybody else having this problem?  :(
