This brings me on a new idea currently having 60-70 soldiers of a type =P
But tell me how you made the background, do you have a A0 format printer?

Once again I am in awe of your diorama. The detail and the set up are once again OUTSTANDING!
-
Speechless! What an awesome house!
-
:omg:

You did it again :D
What a brilliant sight. You've created a feeling of 'openness', of space, that I seldom see in diorama's. It makes everything stand out. The buildings are fantastic, and the way you've arranged them makes it look as though there's plenty more just out of sight. The background is equally stunning by the way, no idea how you do it.
I like the non-Playmobil trees, they give it a more realistic vibe.
And the photography is *beautiful*!!!

Thank you for sharing this masterpiece. Stunning pictures.
-
Thank you!
the background is made out of a panorama pic i took in austria. i printed it out on a 6meter x 1meter canvas. behind the dio table is about a meter space between the canvas. there i took an extra light reflecting from the floor so it gets indirect light without reflections.
the window parts of the 1900 house are super rare and hard to get. it was a bit frustrating when i realized how many i need to get the shape of the house that i wanted…
the soldiers are from our old family collection + some extra ones ;)
i repainted all old wests so they shine in bright white again + added the new legs with boots.

:wow:
Those look AMAZING.. The klickys, the buildings...
A 6m print? :o :o
And (appologies if I asked before but...) where are those torsos in the wagon from? Soooo pretty.
-
Thank you tahra !
the 6m print is not that special. the digital printers can do that. i have to say that my friend owns the printer and he was ok with trying it out on that scale ;D
the torsos are custom i airbrushed them in this colour ;)

Ah, I think it's amazing. I have problems printing in A4 :-[
the torsos are custom i airbrushed them in this colour ;)
Ah, that explains it - they look amazing!
-
i know what you mean with a4 prints :D
it took several hours for printing the 6 meters and the paper feels more like cloth than paper. strange mixture but perfect because it doesn`t knit ( ? ) i was tired of cutting out everything in photoshop and it feels more natural. all the pics are maximum 1% photoshop mostly colour grading but really nothing special. what you see on the pics is there on the table.
-
Wow, that's really impressive! Amazing!
-
Thank you Salamander :)
