Title: 5612 Playground
Post by: skypurr on February 22, 2014, 01:03:03
Last week I found this set in a Sainsbury's store here in Scotland.  It was priced at £14.99 which seemed an OK price for what is in it.  I can't find it on the UK Playmobil site so presume it is an exclusive elsewhere.

It's a long time since I did a review so thought I would do one for this.
Apologies if the photos aren't up to my usual quality - I still have dryers in my workroom after it being flooded at the beginning of January so I haven't put back many of the things I usually use in here, such as my lightbox and daylight lamps,

First the front of the box ...

and the contents ...

Once I had decided to follow the instructions   :-[ and did things in the right order it was relatively easy to put together ...

I'm really pleased with it and altogether I think it's a nice modern set, I prefer it to some of the previous playgrounds - what do you think of it?

This set is super!!!!It's similar to 5568 but including different figures and no fences, although it's better than 5568 because it has the half price!!!!!!!!5568 will cost about £25 (30+ euros)!!!!!

Great review, thanks! I am so getting this set as soon as it's available here

The eyes on the black kid are like black adult's eyes with (white around them). Is that something that's happening to all kid clickies with black skin tone?
I don't know if I like it.

Cute little set.
Your pictures really sell it. :)

I'm going out of left field here, but I think I might get one to reproduce some of the wacky movie ninja fight scenes of the 80's...

I didn't even realize this was already out over there!

I didn't even know it existed!   :-[

I spotted it while out shopping on Valentines Day and decided that as Sandy hadn't surprised me with flowers  :(  then I would treat myself!   ;D

Hey, it is at my TRU! I didn't buy it, because I saw the shopping mall carry set, and the hotel maid set I've been wanting was 50% off. But I'll definitely be going back for it. Like maybe today or tomorrow.
