Title: US Co-op Fig?ures Series 6
Post by: Tiermann on February 17, 2014, 20:53:09
It's that time again, the shop contacted me and wanted to know how many cases I wanted to order, they are on the March release list. I told them 3 cases.
Please let me know if you would like a set of this series from this co-op. I am willing to ship international but shipping prices can be high these days so if you are in Europe you may want to look into finding a co-op closer to you.

I'd love to be in!

Do you how much postage to Australia might be?

Here I can get the figures for AUD$5 each and postage AUD$9.50. The figures are US$2.55 right? So even if he postage is a bit high it still may be cheaper getting it through the co-op.

Thanks for organising this again.

Hi, I've never done one of these co-op things before. Is it only for the whole set? There were only a few I wanted from this series.

Initially yes, it is for a full set of boys and a full set of girls. We don't always get even boxes, so at the end I will happily trade off extras from incomplete sets.

Mimma I would guess around $24 USD for the shipping for all 24 figures, so about a dollar a figure additional. That's first class mail with no tracking option available. It's double that to go Priority with tracking.

Thanks for doing this again Tim, your help is very appreciated. I really like getting at least one whole set instead of getting 4 of each in a case. There are usually more I do not want duplicates of  than ones that I do.

If the boxes are all mixed up again and there are left overs I am interested in male #3, #6 & #9 and female #5 & #11

I haven't heard anything form them yet. Usually they will show up on eBay as soon as some start getting released. We are on the opposite side of the country from the Playmo distribution center so we tend to get things later than some places.

The boy figures are here, but the girl ones are not. The shop got the boys last week but the girls were put on back order. I hoped they would arrive this week but they haven't. I've had time to open the boys. We had one box even on sets, and the other two boxes both had one figure missing. Fortunately the missing figure was the construction worker which is pretty low on the must have list compared to some of the others. Unfortunately the extra figures that replaced it were one Santa, which is fine, and 7 Karate guys. Which may be the one figure lower on the wish list than the construction worker. So in the boys we have 3 complete sets left and 8 sets minus the construction worker. I think one of the complete sets should go to Mimma since she is in Australia and will find it harder to get the missing figure. If you are happy to take an incomplete set or incomplete + karate then please let me know. If anyone wants to take extra karate guys for the Asian head or white arms and cuffs let me know as well.

It's looking like even if the girl sets come next week I wont have time to deal with them and then handle shipping before I leave for Germany next Friday. I have some things I have been holding from my previous sale for people as well. If you would like to go ahead and have me ship the boys to you, or boys + other things I have, I can do that early this week, but it will mean more shipping cost in the end since the girls will show up eventually. However you want to do it is fine with me, but I will need to know by Tuesday at the latest to make it happen.

Hey Tim, I don't need a construction worker, and I'll buy any leftover karate guys.  I can wait on shipment until everything is in. Thanks - Jonathan

Thanks for the update.

I'm fine with a karate guy in place of the construction guy.  I think he looks so sweet somehow and would love to have one to keep intact and one for parts.

No hurry on my set, I am just happy to know that I'll be sure of getting at least one each and I'm sure I'll be busy searching for duplicates of certain figures in the meantime.   :-[

Have a wonderful time in Germany.

Thanks again for organizing the co-op - I'm sure it takes a lot of time.

- Pippa

Hey Tiermann,

I sent you this list earlier, haha, and this reminded me. In case you have any of these left over after you cover everyone who ordered a set and stuff, I'd like to buy these from you. ;)

Highlander x1-2
Aladdin x1
Pink Magic Queen with wand neon wand/staff x1
Chinese Woman in Red x1
Maleficent x1-2

Also, if you get any extra heads or grey skeletons or arms (particularly the white-gloves Fifties girl arms), I might be interested in those too!

Thanks! :)

Thanks for keeping this going Tim. I too do not need the construction worker and would be more than happy to buy up any leftover Asians.

Ditto. I can pay whenever you're ready, but I'd like it all shipped together.

The girl figures are here now, too late for me to deal with them before I leave Friday morning. But they are in hand, so I should be able to get them out to you all in late May. I am home on the 20th and may be able to get them out that week or the beginning of the next. Thanks for your patience.

No worries, have a safe trip and have a great time. When staff is not looking grab the bell support and hinge molds, Chinese are waiting to run it on their machines.

Hi everyone, I have your figure sets packed up and ready to go out this week. I will be sending PMs to everyone with totals.
As a thank you for your patience this time I brought back a postcard and some of the glow in the dark mice from the Speyer exhibition for each of you that I have put into your box. Some of you have items from my sale a couple of months ago that will be shipping with your figures. If you haven't paid for those already I will include that in your totals. Thanks everyone.

No matter how long it takes I still am very grateful for your help, thank you again

That's quite possibly more awesome than the figures.

Yeah I love the glow in the dark mice. They are going to be great at Halloween. I took a huge handful to be sure I had enough to share, and still have a reasonably big amount left. It's something they really should make for the regular assortment some time.

Thank you Tim!
My mystery figures and mice arrived in the mail today.  I was worried that the mice might nibble holes in the mystery figure bags but they were very well behaved.  (Did you feed them before you sealed them in the box?)    :)

I fattened them up on Belgian chocolate Playmo_Belgium gave to me while I was in Germany. I figured they would be ok for the journey. Hopefully the ones going to Australia wont get too hungry on the way.

Thank you Tim. That really was more than nice of you to think of us while on you German trip. The extra bits were great. The kids were having a blast guessing the bags. Our middle son is getting so good it only takes him a minute or so to identify . Even with the staple he can figure it out very quickly. Now to take him shopping with me  for all the scotsmans, middle eastern, and Asian woman we can find.

It is always a surprise to receive a box from a Chocolate company return address, even my mailman commented on it.  I did not realize the mice were glow in the dark, how fun.  My house guest has left, so now I can take time and play tonight.

I have to apologize as I've been tardy in posting my appreciation.

I got the box last Friday but with my son's surgery (minor and he's fine) and lots of related appointments and stuff I haven't had a chance to open all the figures.  But I did open the box...

...and OMG, I love the mice

Thank you so much Tim!!!!
