Title: Playmaica Diorama
Post by: townklicky on February 15, 2014, 21:23:34
Hi,

This is a quick photo of a diorama I have just finshed setting up for a playmobil exhibition in a primary school in the UK.
Took six hours to set up, biggest I have ever attempted, but really good fun designing and then building (not to mention the 100 mile drive with it in the car)

Thanks Adrian

That's really nice. Those kids surely will enjoy it. Lovely idea.

Yep me too! If you find the time,  :picsplz:

The water looks great. And I'd love to see some close-ups of the inside of the hotel and shopping mall.

Congratulations on setting up your biggest dio yet. It looks like a very nice modern scene. I like how you took the blue roofed vacation house and made ita two story building. Your hotel is quite tall. That seems to be quite popular thing to do with it over attune pcc. I want to try to make it wider and about 4 stories tall when we get one. How did you set up the roads  and grass sections?

That looks really nice. I'll join everyone else, and ask for larger pics, if possible :)

It definitely is quite a substantial diorama with a lovely holiday feel to it

Only six hours?  It's beautiful: the water and the beach look incredible, and I love the older houses round the green, the 'ordinary' houses in the background ... and the 'yes we'll give you planning permission' hotel jumping in on top of everything.  I guess the primary school children will just accept it as a 'normal scene' - but it is very cleverly done.

Thanks for the comments, I will post more pictures of it, once I have taken some more (and can work out how to make them small enough easily, as at present are 2.6meg each). This exhibition is on tomorrow also..

Thanks Adrian
