Thanks for the review. I like the colors on the figures in this one. They must be listening to Tahra about doing more figures in browns.

That looks like a great little set. I could see using lots of these to fill in a diorama. Maybe paint out the sheriffs star and change the head a few times for a saloon band in that outfit. The brown colors are great.

thanks for the pictures and review Playmo-80

I think it's more a reissue of the ANCIENT one..

Am I the only one who thinks that adding a saddle/blanket roll would have made it perfect?)

aren't the new blankets the real cloth ones? If it came with the old hard plastic molded one I think this would have been more than perfect, especially since DS parts would have them to re-order for all the ones we are missing.

It would be great if they had add also a blanket on the saddle!!
It would be perfect and I have done something like that here:

It looks like a great set, though I really wish they would start making medieval saddles that can hold stuff as well such as a sword, a bow, arrows or something.

Looks like a good set with decent accessories, as others have set the figure in the brown shirt looks particularly nice, I'm not keen ont he facial hair of the other other guy but, that's just personal preference I guess it just looks a bit weird to me.

I agree.  The plastic ones are so much better than the cloth ones.  I think we only have 1 yellow and 1 gray one left... all of the others disappeared into no man's land!

I hope this is directional for the company.  It's so nice to have sets that don't have the eye-searing colors of the past few years.  I am not opposed to bright color per se but they should be used sparingly to have more impact.

This is available in the US website now and am debating whether to complete my cart order...just so much to buy, which one first!
