Post by: Jay on February 03, 2014, 22:02:15
So, what is new in Germany as far as add-ons, or is that on a need to know basis also? 8}

No news yet! I'm waiting to find out as well, really hoping for that farmhouse.

Your right Jay, but unfortunately we are all not in the "Need to know" category .

I am looking forward to the news also. I am sure, if we are allowed to that is, someone will post the news as soon as possible.

bb, I too sure hope it's the very beautiful farm house, it has to be one of my favorites from the western theme. I think it was so well designed and it is quite attractive to me.

Actually I kind of forgot there is more to reveal. Something to look forward to, thanks.

In Germany the new add-ons are released the first of June. I wouldn't expect to hear anything specific on them at PCC until March. Last year it was the beginning of March when we had the first info.

Let's just guess for a moment:  Most of the Steck houses have been reissued. What's left? The train station, which would be great as it can be used for much more,  the Green tailor's house, and what else?  I missed most of them first time around, so not sure, but perhaps someone has an idea what it could be.

There's also the steck barracks, rathaus, Gasthaus and the pottery maker.

I'm really hoping for them to rerelease forestmen sets of the 90's though. Medieval peasants!

That's a fantastic wish, Rhalius, and I certainly hope that it comes true. The Fi?ures Series 7 Robin Hood would fit with those sets well. ;)

What was the steck barracks?  I'm very curious to see that one. What was the number of that set?   I think I've seen picutres of the Gasthaus.

If we're just wishing out loud, here's what I'd like to see:

- freight terminal 4305 (can be used to make bridges and quays)

- River Dale train station 4301

- blue house 7847 (has been made available through DS at one point, so shouldn't be impossible)

That or I win the lottery and I just buy this stuff on E-bay for ridiculous amounts of money  ;D

We are of a singular mind.

(though, since I have those, my wishes go more to the red house, that I missed - cause I was a stupid moron  :wall: - and of course the ever useful 7400 foundations)

I've been restraining myself for quite some time now not to buy it for indeed ridiculous amounts of money, but I'm starting to waver, it's the only one I haven't got... :-\

It would be great to re-re-release the houses but they were just done a few years ago. SO many people could use the 7400 and it has not been in production for what, almost 20 years. I would also like to see the 5300 re-released

I never look at auctions of the colored tudor houses but judging from the comments there is quite a demand for them. They were some thing around $30 when new.

They're a bit more pricey now...I'd LOVE the 7400 add-on too!!! :)

The blue house was only a year or so ago if I recall. I had an extra yellow one I just got rid of. Now I wonder if I should have kept it.  As far as train freight terminal, a few years ago Target had a safari type station that had a lot of the parts.  I used it once for a set up then passed it along.
But any of the old castle steck buildings would be fine.  Maybe this time I'll keep more than one.
