the old parts you see are from my childhood collection. i think i had 10 and then my father added some more  ;)  because he liked them so much.  i restored them over the winter. i added the new legs with the black boots and had to find some more than i had. i did some other variations which i will show later in this thread. there will be some smaller and bigger dios to present them.

They look like a very smart troop particularly with the white fronts as well as the blue cuffs and plumes and those waistcoats look really nice as well  :)

Very nice collection of classic guards. The pictures and boarder present them in a very beautiful way. You also gave nice variation to the faces to give a nice diversity of personalities.

Wow! That brings back warm, nostalgic memories.. I had one of those soldiers (actually, still has!) and was hoping for a set of three with officer. Never got it, mostly cowboys and pirates in that time. Great set ups and variations in uniforms and faces!  :love: love it!

i am always aware of how lucky we are here in germany because you can get these sets ( e.g. marine set 70s ) cheaper than most of the new sets.

Those figures look great in colur and in sepia it's a great effect and works well to show those figures off. Just seen the first page as well what a great army likiing all the customs you've done for the generals, cpatains medics etc. and those decals really finish them off  :)
