I was wondering if there is a way to have a notice, similar to the yellow "new" icon that states if one has or has not posted on a particular tread? In the welcome topic it is really hard to keep track of who was welcomed and who has been missed. It could work in other areas as well, especially in customs area. There can be so many new posts that it can become hard to keep track of where one has been and posted.

If I understand the question correctly, that already exists.
The topics you posted on have a "note thing" on the icon. There's an icon explanation at the bottom of page.

Really? As you can see I really do not pay attention to things around me unless I need the use of them
this "note thing" ? I will go look at the bottom of the page
