				Hi

 We've just bought the engine and coal wagon for set 4032. on a well known auction site.  Looks like we will need to get a power pack to power the train via the brass rails.  Does anybody know if Playmobil still sell them or can one buy an LGB/Piko alternative (if so what should be looking for).  Any help much appreciated.

				Playmobil does not sale transformers any more. You can buy used transformers e.g. in Ebay.
 But it's only in Germany very cheap, I think.

 You can buy another transformer of UK (LGB-, Piko-, H0 transformer) which has max. 16 V DC (or don't drive full speed).

 How many locos do you need?
 If you need 3 or more locos, you need a transformer with more power (more amp/ampere), 2 A (amp) or more.

 e.g. Piko 35006 has 1,6 amp, Piko 35002 has 5 amp.

 The track connector (to the transformer) could also be of LGB (50160) or Piko (35270) - contacts better than Playmobil connector (4351 or 4372)!

				i have a 4375 transformer and i have 3 more cars than the set. the speed is not high but it doesn't bother me. if you intend to expand your train with more cars, you definitely need a more suitable power supply  :wave:

				What means »3 more cars«, savvas?
 cars = wagons (without motor)?
 cars = locos (with motor)?

 Transformer 4375 has only 0,5 amp. If you have 2 or 3 locos simultaneously, there are very slow, I think.
