Title: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christmas and toy trains just seem to go together!
And, of course, Playmobil was no exception. In fact, one of the first RC train sets ever offered by Playmobil was Christmas train set 4035 (pictures attached).

Merry Christmas Playmofriends!

Merry Christmas to you, too, Richard, and thank you for posting those pictures. I've never seen that set complete before.

Merry Christmas to you too!  What a beautiful set.  When was it produced, and how rare is it?

Hello Kaethe,

I think that the Playmobil RC Christmas train (set 4035) was produced for the USA and CDN markets about the turn of the century (1999-2000).
There's an interesting article about this Christmas train (with lots of pictures) at this Spanish Playmobil forum: http://www.aesclick.com/public/index.php?topic=5036.0

And, Kathe, Gordon and George, hope y'all are enjoying this Christmas holiday in good health! ...  :xmascheer:

Merry Christmas,
Richard

I'm a little slow on the uptake Richard, but I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as mine.  Thank you all for the wonderful train pics.  Happy New Year to all!   :xmascheer:

And, a Merry Christmas to you, Joe!

It's probably never too late (or, too early) to wish anyone a Merry Christmas ...  ;)

Love Christmas ... Got to listen to my favorite LGB Christmas boxcar (please see attachment) ...  :cane:

Happy New Year ... :cham:,

In that case, I'll join in and say Merry Christmas too!

Believe it or not, I actually purchased this train brand new for about $50 at a Disney outlet store about 10 years ago.  We have fun setting it up around the tree every year and making tunnels out of wrapped Christmas presents.  :xmascheer:
