Title: The Village, by George and Dennis!!

This is a medieval diorama I made with my friend Dennis!! A Greek collector who came to my place from Athens!!
We had a great time and we build together a wonderful diorama!! Here is a picture of that!! More pictures are coming soon! ;)

It looks like a wonderfull village, judging from that picture!  :)

Great looking photo. It looks like a scan of a really old picture.

Your building has some interesting features. I like the use of the goldmine roof and how the logs to prop it up are in rocks. Looks great.

That's cool it sure looks like a day well spent that love that cart in the foreground it feels very realistic as though it's jsut caught everyone in the middle of going about their day to day lives  :)

I have to say I'm very happy for the days I spent with Dennis! He is an incredible collector and a very good person!
He brought with him three HUGE boxes with playmobil because he wanted to show me some very rare things that I have never seen in my life!! Many of those things were from playmobil Lyra we had here in Greece!!! You don't want to know what, because you will cry like I did when I saw them!! :lol: That guy is a real collector!!! I have a surprise for you and you will see that, in my next pictures!! Enjoy them! ;)

I like the use of the farm supports to create the second story balcony. The added railing does not look right to me but that is a difficult problem to solve.

That panoramic picture is lovely

Hello tahra.

I'm glad you asked about that. These small figures are of porcelain and was made for playmobil, from Feves collection, a company from France who is doing bibelots. They made this in 2003 and you can't find them anymore. They have stop the production.
The figures were into a beautiful casket and there were 10 of these.

This is absolutely gorgeous, can't believe I missed it up until now! What a lovely diorama, and a nice piece of history about those little porcelain figures, too. I had never seen those before. Btw, it looks like there is a chimney fire on the blacksmith shop! :o Thanks for sharing this beautiful joint project.

The blacksmith is very busy bonnie and so the fire to his chimney is normal!! :lol:

 I like seeing the "back stage" shots just as much as the actual shots. For me it gives me new ideas on our picture taking
