Title: Set 6305 Guards on Horseback
Post by: Donmobil on November 20, 2013, 05:45:58
Would someone please explain why this set is listed in the knights theme?  For lack of a proper theme or even in History, maybe in with the Pirates theme.

I wondered about that too. It doesn't really fit with pirates either though. History would probably be the best place.

Just a guess, There are more collectors who visit the medieval section of the web shops that any other so getting exposure for the set is more important than putting it in the most logical place

Well, that should be in "Victorian" or "1900's"  like the original one but as that theme is not around anymore I guess they put it where it fits the better according to existent themes.

As they are "soldiers"... the closest by association is "knights".

This might be why they are now stating that new sets are chosen that will fit in with current themes.

Makes sense I gues, means more sales from the regular buyers who only have stuff from the last few years.
