Hell guys as some of you have probably seen my good pal and founding member of the Mini Carbon Army Mini Scott has recently suffered quite a big injury which needed surgery. Fortunately Tahra offered him some help since Portugal is a long way away I called in the Emergency Servcies to send him on his way safe and sound
"Oh dear look what's happened to my poor arm! It's so painful I can't bear it can you please call for some help?"

"Don't worry I've called the Emergency Services, they said they're on their way and they'll be here soon. Let me take a look at your arm and I'll see whether I can't clean it up for you and put a dressing on to help until they arrive" "Oh thank you my old pal I don't know what I'd do without you guys"

A few minutes later the Helicopter lands to take Scott away, his plas help him to his feet and support him as he makes his way over to meet the crew

"Hello there young man we've been called out to help you now what seems to be the problem?" "Well you see I've hurt my arm quite badly see" he says holding it up for the meedic to see and pointing at it "I'm terribly worried it's very painful and I fear it might need an operation to fix it"

"Ah yes I see what you mean, well now don't worry we'll take good care of ytou and amke sure nothing happens. You'll be fixed up in no time"

His friends all gather round to say bye bye to him and his closest buddy has some questions for the crew "He will be all right won't he? you're going to take good care of him?" "Oh yes of course you don't need to worry about a thing. We're going to make a quick stop off at the local hospital and then if he's fit for travel we're going to send him on the first flight over to Portugal where there is ateam who specalises in repairing and repalcing limbs, their surgeons are some of the best in the world and you can be sure that he'll recieve top notch care while he's there"

And so Scott heads off on his big journey, tahra has been keeping me up to date throughout this week and Scott is happy and enjoying himself, she has taken some more photos of Scott in Portugal so I will let her add her own photos if she wishes and tell you more about his big adventure ;)

Hey guys these are the photos Tahra sent me.
Scott had heard he was going to be flying to some place called Portugal, he didn't know where this Portugal place was but, it sure seemed far away still he was warm and cosy in his package and it was nice and dark perfect for getting some sleep against the bubble lining. Unfortunately he was still rather scared about what was going to happen to him and his arm and he had nightmares about Frankenstein's laboratory and butchers disguised as surgeons hacking him open :o sometimes he wondered whether he' d ever arrive at this Portugal place. Eventually though he heard a ripping sort of sound followed by an influx of light, when he found his way out of the envelope he was relieved to find himself staring at the friendly face of a big woman was this who he was going to be staying with he wondered she saw seemed happy to see him?

He soon saw she was accompanied by a friendly smiling Klicky who introduced himself as Bommer Click apparently he was quite well known around the parts and like himself accompanied his human around on their travels. Scott had packed a camera so he could take lots of photos of this Portugal place, Boomer gently took this from him and handed it to the big lady instructing her to take a photo of them together, they posed together then Scott anxiously asked the big human if she could please ulpoad the photo as quickly as possible and send it to his human big Scott back home so that he could see that he had arrived safe and sound and was happy.

After a week relaxing, exploring and having the hospital staff run some tests on him he was informed that they were ready to fix him up some of the staff reassured him before the operation that it would all be all right

After he'd recovered from his operation the medics suggested he should have some food and drink to keep his blood sugar levels and such up, since they didn't want to seem rude they joined him in having a biscuit ;)

He had to admit he was having quite a good time here but, he missied his big fella and his friends at BTCV and he knew they missed him as well as the big lady had been keeping him updated and sending through all their mesages, after discuissing it with the locals and the big lady they agreed that he was in a fit state to go home so he said his bye byes and made preparations for his long journey home :wave:

Thanks mate you're right it sure is good to see him on his feet and I think he has had quite an adventure will let you know when he arrives back home I'm sure his buddies'll be glad to see him again ;)

The little guy is on the way! He had a good time (though he was nervous about the procedure - understandable)... He made some new friends, saw the playmomountains... But he missed home and was eager to return.

Yes it's good news all around I'm glad to see him having a good time and making new friends, I'm truly grateful to Tahra for all her help she's been brilliant :love:. Now we're all looking forward to him getting back hopefully he won't be to disorientated form his long flight there's plenty of footpath work for him to help with when he gets back ;)

Indeed it is good to see him healed just so long as he doesn't do like Dr Curt Conners in the Spiderman comics and turn into a Lizard man :o ;)

Of course will keep you all posted I'm eagerly awaiting his arrival back home as are his friends who are wondering when he's going to get back they want to see that he's safe and that he's been fixed up properly plus they need all the help they can get with the footpath ;) ;D I hope he'll be back when I get home on Monday but, judging by the amount of time it took for him to land in Portugal Tuesday might be a more realistc estimate.

After a wait which seemed to last for an eternity we got home yesterday to find a small parcel waiting on the table the guys were curious it said it was from Portugal could it possibly be?

Wahay Scott was back he was getting a bit bored of being stuck in the box for so long and was keen to get out but, he had a surprise or two for all of us

We also got a bag of body parts, heads, hair, frames etc. loads of useful tools and other accessories which were less unexpected as Tahra had very kindly asked me if there was anything I was after, some very useful stuff in there including some snow shovels which'll be well used now since it's leaf clearing time and soon snow shovelling time.

The Policemen and Knights also got some useful stuff a couple of flails a saddle so my Swan Knight ould ride his horse in comfort and a new suit of armour and shield for my old childhood Knight he says he thinks he looks much smarter now ;) :knight: and the Police got some walkie talkies, handcuffs and an extra megaphone plus they looked much smarter wearing some of the extra helmets that came in the lot of Playmobil I bought on Monday and not forgetting the new recruit who also arrived with that lot

We've already managed to make some new men out of some of the body parts

The bearded fella in the checked shirt is going to be customised with a bit of careful painting and a custom blad head so he hopefully looks a bit like our boss at BTCV. Oh yes and the video camera and big cmaera with tripod also came in this parcel very cool the guys are having loads of fun with those accessories
Well from me Scotty and all his friends we say a great big :thanks: to Tahra for all her help and kindess and all the extra accessories Scott says he really enjoyed his time in Portugal, exploring the Playmomountains and meeting the local Klickies and he's glad that he got sent back with his new friends, he says he appreciates the extra tools and the wooly hat which is very useful back in chilly Sheffield ;) :)9

Yeah he was happy to be reunited with his friends when he'd had a good rest from all that travelling ;)

Thanks Scott was rather surprised and a little overwhelmed by the new army that greeted him when he got back :o I've gotta agree with you with the big haul I picked up on Monday and now all the extras that Scott came back with it is rather like Christmas or in our house Hannukkah has come early plus I know I shouldn't spend more money but, I'm going to try and get the Pirate Advent calendar and maybe some figures from the latest series of Mystery figures this week :)
