Thought this might be of interest:

Looking at the pic in the linked article, it doesn't make me very happy. Kids may like it, but of course it is just another commercial attempt to raise Playmobil sales.
The figures have eyes like barbie or lego-friends or something, awful. And of course they move in a human-way, which throws them lightyears away from having anything to do with klickies.

I was thinking along the same line. What I do not get is that when a collector bends an arm Geobra gets its underwear in a bunch claiming it distorts children's expectations on what a klicky can do but yet when they do it they take it to an extreme?
"Playmobil includes 650 characters and more than 15,000 accessories."
Is that all there is in the whole playmobil brand? It seems very low.

Legally they will now have no leg to stand on if they ever try to pursue any legal action against anyone bending arms or legs again. All counsel would have to do is step up and present, "Your Honour, I present these examples from Playmobil itself of their figures with bending arms and legs. If the company was against such things they would, in no way, publicize and promote the exact same thing they have attempted to bring my client before this court for. Your Honour, based upon this evidence alone I move this case be dismissed and all compensation for my client's counter-claim my client has brought before this court be award due to the actions of this company."

At my last Klicky census, I had over 700 unique characters, and I only collect within a narrow spectrum.(knights, pirates and mystery figures.) So I know there are far more than 650. I would estimate maybe 2000 or more.

Maybe they mean in the current line - just what they are selling right now.

Hmm, there are a few discussions on this, but this thread seems to be the only one with the real title "Super Four" of the new television series. Anyway, here is a "Brand Overview" video I found about it on what seems to be a test channel for PGS Entertainment. It shows an outline of the characters in the show with a small snippet that features the pirate girl and secret agent.
You can watch the video (click the HD for a better resolution) if you play it from here: http://vimeo.com/channels/655257
Judging by the 27 views since it was posted 5 months ago, not many have seen this. ;D

Thanks for sharing this. I reserve judgement on this as a representation of Playmobil.

Ah, yes, me too. I don't think it looks very much like Playmobil, but it might be a nice show. The target age group is quite low though, so it might be one of those really simple shows.

Indeed, doesn't look very playmo-like..
Let's hope we can watch a couple of eps and decide..

I don't like the look of this-this just isn't Playmobil... :hmm:
