Hello it was my birthday today I got what I'd asked for from my family not many surpises a BTCV book on Waterways and Wetlands, some shirts, Doctor Who 50th anniversary stamps, a carving knife which is good since I found some green Lime wood last week to carve. I also got a tin and card from one of my friends who I don't see much of since they've found work and a card from one of the people who walks their dogs round Botanics who I know fairly well and some earphones from relatvies very useful as gardeners seem to destroy them quickly.
I know better than to ask my Mum for toys :( so I bought myself some Playmboil and LEGO a few weeks ago and with quite a bit of will and ignoring the fact it was under my bed saved some stuff to open today :love:

I was very happy with all of my purchases and they nearly all found new friends or accessories

The driver has replaced my other guy in a driving suit to ride my latest Motorbike since his suit matches the helmet and bike better plus I found the other driver was the rifle shooter form the Olypmics set, the explorer will go with my black explorer (forgot to take photos with them in :-[) and the little boy found a Dad I think they make a good pair myself

I don't have more Cavemen but, he got this spare spear so he can try to hunt squirrels at the Botanics and probably fail :P

The Egyptian? guy made friends with the Romans and instructed him to deliver his scroll safely to someone the soldier didn't know who since they're the only ones from that time ???

My old childhood Knight got the honour of being the first to meet the new recruits along with my Archer since I'm planning to take some photos of him later this week :knight:

I really like both the sets I like both of the Knights the Red and Yellow guy's my favourite love the tabbard and and chainamil combo plus that shield looks stunning :love: the other guy the emblem's really cool, good outfit not sure about the gloves or the eyes but, they're well hidden by the hair and helmet, speaking of not keen on either helmet the red one looks ok with the visor up not so sure with it down. Weapons are all good a nice choice, and the horse looks good more realistic not that I dislike the charm of the old ones, just the side bit on the bridle is a bit odd. Oh yes and cannons can understand they're overused but, it's my first one so I don't mind and it's got impressive firepower ;D

The Celtic/Viking? guy I really like he's very cute great outfit apart form the bright red boots against black legs, love the shield design and the flail, other accessoires are nice particularly the stool, I liek the chicken and the stick but, not used together the only other things I'd say are it seems silly to give him stubble and a beard since the stubble's hidden and I'm sure he'd appreciate a full mug of beer ;) but, never mind he has plenty of other gear.

Oh yes and the LEGO 75p each plus I had a Waterstones gift card for £1.99 they didn't have any Playmobil so I picked the first LEGO mystery pack up

I wanted the Yeti and I got him he looks really cool and a lollyice :lol: like the leaflet as well but, they're harder to open

Thanks it was quite nice one of the guys brought in pie today but, everyone was still excited, my boss had the right idea didn't have any cake at lunchtime but, said if it was ok he'd take some home I wasn't bothered about divviying the remains up and sicne there was a small group he got half a tin of rather battered cake ;D

I have the yeti too, I loooove that figure and the popsickle.
Thanks Waterstones had the packs right near the counter so I was to embarassed to start feeling them all in view of the staff and the till but, I hoped it was a Yeti as he looked really cool and it was I think he's super cute and cool as well and also 2 points first off it looks good with anormal head on as someone in a Yeti costume and the lollyice works well as a Klicky accessory ;)

He certianly is a very nice looking well put together Knight good accessories as well as much as I love the old horses sicne they're from my childhood got to say the new horse looks good and I really like that bold shield design, the other Knight not quite as much :knight:
