Just checked the German Playmobil site if the expected add-ons were on sale already (In Holland not :() and what did I see... One of the warriors has dwarf legs.

They all come with pretty cool parts, the rest is discussed earlier.

Yeah, and one of them is basically the Figures Ninja...
(with this PCC gag thing, I have a hard time keeping track of what can and can't be discussed)

Why is there a dwarf Asian ? This does not seem right. Asians are not small

well, there may be short Asians/ninjas but a darf does look out of context IMO!!
-
well... why should he be a dwarf?
can't he be just short? ;) or everyone must be 3.5 inches tall? :P

He's not very proportional since he has the same torso and arms as the others.

In a theme with many dragons, why question the inclusion of a dwarf?

Especially dragons wearing clothing/weapons ... Maybe the company was offering a bonus for who could make the best theme with the silliest components?

Wouldnt really call it the best theme. ;)
A shame they didnt go an asian theme without fantasy though. I'd have loved to have seen more accurate samurai along with tea houses, a buddha statue, geisha's, a traditional japanese castle, etc.
A shame they went for the cheap playset look instead of something more constructive.

If they did make a Theme with those sets (and I know I would like it!), would it sell?

The whole theme is primarily designed for kids. And I would guess they like it how the soldiers etc look like, especially the dragons.
I must admit from the pictures I saw so far I personally appreciate this dragon boat (5481).

Maybe he is the Asian version of Tyrion Lannister - Game of Thrones.
Or mayby not.

These Asian add-ons tie in with the new Dragons theme, along with the Dragons pouches I reported on yesterday.
I just looked at the mini-catalogue in the pouch, and discovered the new sets 5479 through 5484. Big Castle (with dragon), Small Castle (with Dragon), Dragon Ship (with Dragon), and three different sizes of Dragon with a single Klicky each.
This is a nod towards the Asian theme we've been hoping for, but it's not quite there. If the castles had been made in white rather than stone color they'd look more Japanese, though I guess we can spray paint them.
I saw one of the Klicky-with-Dragon sets in TRU yesterday but didn't get it for cost.

Hi Martin,
Maybe you missed the topics on it or you're still hopeful.
This IS the Asian theme that had been alluded to in the past.
Maybe based on feedback and sales they will do something different in the future.
