This story is based upon the book The very busy spider by Eric Carle. My three year old son and me had a lot of fun playing the story with our Playmobil.

On a sunny morning the wind blew a (in this case big!) spider to a farm fence.

The spider started to built a web.

Boo, Boo said the cow. Would you like something to eat? The spider didn't answer. She was too busy building a web.

The owl flew out her tree and wondered who built this beautiful web. The spider didn't answer. She was sleeping.

Very nice!
(and Playmobil used with children - the way it was meant to be!)
I have a feeling you will be asked to make a lot more Photo-stories.

My kids had that book when they were little - Eric Carle has done so many wonderful stories and illustrations!
What a great project for you and your son, it turned out really well! :)

Aw, that was really cute! I would love to have children's books illustrated with pics of real playmobil.

This is really adorable so very nicely done :)
A huge hug to our little Playmo Friend

What a lovely story and what a great use of Playmobil to make scenes from stories with your little boy. :)
Thank you for sharing this with us.

A very clever way to tell a well loved story, your son is a very lucky little guy! He will probably remember the time you spent together for many years to come, beautiful memories.

I don't know the original story but this one is super cute
It's awesome that you took the time to do this with your son.
That's actually something PM should come up with: regular size spiders, perhaps on a web of their own.

Spiders including a web sounds like a good idea. I suggested to use the crab, because it has a better scale. But it was too hard to tie to the fence.
Also my son is very charmed by this big spider.
