I decided to start today, with no end date, a new project that is my Union Infantry and my Confederate Infantry, as close as possible to the historical uniforms with parts 100% original Playmobil.
Hope you enjoy the result.
I'm waiting for suggestions to improve them.
Greetings
Leonardo

but I thought DS is run out of one of these 2 colors of pouches?
also, it means you have to find more of these closed blue collars to build 2 armies...tough! My greys and blues dont share same parts so it was easier to collect enough parts for both armies..I suppose you have ebay instead of just relying on DS

I can't really suggest much for improvement since I don't know mcuh about how the uniforms should look but, they look good to me very striking :)

Leonardo,
Based on my knowledge of the American Civil War (1861-1865) you seem to have done an excellent job with original Playmobil parts.

Hi Leonardo....!!!...
You ask for improves....hmmm....is a matter of taste but you know my resin "kepi" variants.....and Bendalator have some stickers for bodies and the top of the kepi.... ::)
On the other hand....a spanish friend make his own belts with tablecoth of "hule".....oilcloth...I dont know the the english word for this...sorry
Is very easy and cheap.....also resistant....I put a link to Playclicks.... http://www.playclicks.com/playforos/index.php?topic=44921.0

those 'oil cloth' look right! good idea...washable and stiff-looking enough to be playmo..wish they were thicker tho'

Considering the various suggestions received, these will be the final models of the Union Infantry.
Now I just need to get time to make at least 16 of each.
Malone, Bendalator stickers are already identifying the regiment.. ;)

They look great!
I liked the backpacks too, but I guess it's a good idea to leave them out if it's going to take forever to find a lot of them.
Lovely project, I look forward to the pictures :)

Birdie,
I have 100 of this backpacks. ;)
I just took off, as was most criticized in other forums.
Thanks for the comments, now I just need to find time to assemble everything. :-\
