I had never even thought about them that way... Though I prefer polar to victorian, so.. unlikely I use them as such ;)

Are the polar neck pieces the big white ones sticking out? They look fabulous indeed.

Hello Birdie , thanks to coment ! sorry : i don't understand your question (my english is not so bad but ...) sticking out ??? jeremy

One thing I don't like: many figures are dominanted by two colors. For me, this means the customs get "used to the eye" too fast. I found this out in my early stages of military soldier customs (I redid so many after awhile...). It is often more interesting to have three or four colors that go together.
The most important thing however: you have to like them.
There are some very nice ideas in your customs though!
Cheers,
HDL

hello Birdie , thanks , not sure but i think i guess the meaning of theses worlds together now .
Hauden Lukas : Many thanks !! i really appeciate your sincerity and it's very rare to get feedback we can discuss on forums !
Yes : my custom are always dominated by 2 colors , i play with contrast . I want to keep playmobil style when i do 100 % playmo customs and i change the original when there's too many colors for piece because i don't find them "used to the eyes" . Same thing for my buiding : with a base of 2 colors and finding furniyure as well, i find that more pleasant to see .
You're right : it would be easy to make 100 customs (fasltly or not) in blue and white for example using different collar and hats and combine blue and white : that's also someting i want to show in here .Theses customs could maybe be a great "base" to add another color but not 4 or 5 for me !!  Simplicity doesn't mean fast made all the time and i find them most of time better than customs too complicate .
When i have to chose between be near conformity and be "good for the eyes" i alway chose the second solution : in life , we can see many colors and it's sometimes not beautifull to see so i have no interest to do that .
Customs with more than 4 colors who are pleasant to see are of course more dificult to do and i haven't see many i like but when they are good , i appreciate it !!
Sure it's more difficult to do a custom nice to see with a lot of colors , i most of time use 3 but rarelly more , i know someone who do very creative custom with many colors , it's always a pleasure to see the parts he use but i rarelly find them beautifull , it a pleasure to see he has his own style and it's of course more interesting to look for me than someone who will mix colors like me (because i know my own style ! )
Really keep going on please if you have critical (i would be lucky to get theses kind of point of vue on my buiding ! ) , i have my own way but it's so pleasant and rare talking about what we're looking at customising playmobil  !!
